I have a decent justinian's mercy (2300+ dmg, str, IAS, socket, LoH), and could craft a piro marella if i want (although i doubt i will, seeing as i've crafted a few and they've all rolled pretty bad). Play style is pretty simple, use condemn as needed to gather trash and spam hammers, blow CD's and pound for elites/gaurdians. Some of the skills and passives can be changed to your liking (i.e. akarat's rally rune for prophets/hasteful, heavens strength over fervor, wrathful for insurmountable or righteousness, granted you have enough life regen). Any feedback is welcome, and if you try it out before i'm able to get in game, let me know what you think, otherwise i'll post some thoughts later on. Thanks.
So I finally got back to playing enough to get in game and mess with this build. I did happen to find a Maximus and decided to push this build more towards a fire build.
I have only played this build on T3 (due to my gear not being totally optimized, would like a magefist for gloves, and trying to craft a aughlids helm for 3 piece bonus), but I can say that it is quite powerful on both trash ,and elites. With Piro Marella and Cindercoat the cost of my shield bash is around 11 wrath, and my hammers 7. This allows me to dart around the map and laying down fiery hammers as much as want without having to worry to much about my wrath (add in my reapers wraps and provoke and I can go almost indefinitely). I do keep a generator in my build as it helps with bash damage, and during high density area's the proc is quite nice. I may try this build without a generator and pick up consecrate, war steed, or falling sword and see how that plays. For reference I've been clearing to rift guardians in about 10 mins or less (usually 10-20s to kill guardians depending on which it is).
Interesting idea. Having 6 pc akhans I'd probably drop roar in favor of a defensive for t5/6. I might give this a go as I have a well rolled piro as well and it has wrath regen on it. Might be a nice switch up from my typical firelight :).
