So, I really like the passive Heavenly Strength, but the move speed reduction REALLY bothered me. That is until I tried out this skillwith the Answered Prayer rune. A three stack of Glory grants 10% move speed that does indeed, appear to work with Heavenly Strength. This rune makes it nearly a given that you'll always be running with 3 stack of Nephalem Glory. If this is commonly known, so be it, but if not figured I'd share it with the community, 20% move speed is much more manageable than 10%. Enjoy!
Nice tip. So the Neph Glory orbs drop consistently enough to keep it up and negate the downside of Heavenly Strenght? How about the Law's cooldown? Doesn't that make it so at times you're without the Neph Glory buff?

Though I'm sure teammates love that Rune as well.
I'm finding that if I just keep moving, its generally enough to find enough mobs to keep it up. I just empower the law basically every time I get into combat with a pack of 3 or more mobs. If I spend time gawking at my inventory or what not, yeah it gets a bit tougher to keep it rolling. Focused killing in act 3 (still leveling:) has allowed me to roll the stack nicely so far. Only hit a few dry spells where the 60 seconds is not enough time to refresh the stack.
To be honest the steed just makes this a non issue, im usually way ahead of the party because of that, run speed almost never comes into play as a crusader.

25 sec cooldown for 2 seconds run speed...kinda sucks
its a wasted slot imo
Its 3 second with the right rune...... i have yet to see a crusader without it lol. It breaks CC, Makes you immune to them as well. In that 3 second you jump way ahead.
It's good as an escape out of a cluster or a giant unit cockblocking the way, but the cooldown is pretty long...has anyone tried using the health regen law with the last rune that stops all health gain and regen for 3 seconds + passive that increases law active duration by 5 seconds?
I'm not that far into my Crusader, but right now it seems that the movement penalty from Heavenly Strength doesn't really matter, as long as you have Shield Bash to get to on pack to the other very quickly.
I spend all my paragon points on plus movement speed. (I'm only paragon 167). I suppose if I was doing UBERS I might spec to all +str, but for doing bounties, it's pretty nice to move as quick as possible. Also as Heavendenies said, shield bash is a great gap closer if you have an enemy to target.
Isn't there a legendary that removes the movement penalty? Granted, leg drops are RNG. But I never thought I'd find a thunderfury and yet I found one before the expansion even went live. (Unfortunately I was lvl 47 at the time.)
well the drawback is that its taking a passive slot AND 2-hand weapons are SUPER slow. you'll hit harder but regen wrath slower with ur primary skills. also it depends on what kind of drops you get....stick with the better 1H.

I like 2H flails with their 1.15 attack speed. It's a good balance between speed and damage. The 2H swords work ok too but are noticeably slow. I've used a 2H polearm when a leg dropped for me. It hit like a truck but took forever for the next swing. But with 2Handers, I like to use slash for the primary so you hit lots of mobs for your swing.

You left out that the stats on a two-handed weapon are far superior than that of a one-handed. And IAS can take care of the attack speed difference between a two-handed and one-handed weapon.
@thatFPGAguy the movement speed from Paragon levels does not work to counter the debuff from Heavenly Strenght. Because the passive reduces 15% from your "maximum movement speed", so you can't get to 25% movespeed anymore, the maximum you can have is 10%. Edit: this is not wrong after all, check my post below
Neph Globes kinda help with their 10% bonus movespeed, but you'll still be falling way behind Dashing Monks, Teleporting Wizards or Vaulting DHs (because they also get the 10% bonus, going up to 35% movement speed).

True. I knew I couldn't get 125%. I was trying to use my boots and paragon to get back to 100%. I'd imagine running at 85% speed could get annoying.
Apparently when I tried compensating the movement debuff with Paragon levels something went wrong (either I didn't equip my boots, or a bug in the character sheet happened), and I got the wrong info there.
You can compensate the debuff in movespeed with Paragon levels.
Edit: Disregard the disregard... jeez what a mess...

Making slower wrath is infact not a drawback, because slower weapon deals more damage per point of wrath spend and unlike say a barbarian, crusader is closer to DH where you regen wrath passively at the same time. Each of these points of wrath per second add ups to more damage with a 2 hander and so does all the slower wrath you make with your builder. You can take exemple on Demon Hunter, the fact that they prefer Slower and harder hitting weapons for the same reason, you deal more damage per hatered and spend it slower, same concept here.
The only real drawback is the movement speed into the talent, taking a passive slot is not a drawback, no other talent gives you such a damage increase. Unless you are very unlucky with the drops, its easy to find a average 2 hander that will beat most 1 hander with heavens strength simply because of the damage increase and the stats. Mine is a pretty average legendary i found with 2690 dps, 1 socket and 1000+ str, 1000+ vit. The good thing is it deals holy damage, so it scales better than a holy 1 hander would with Holy cause passive as well, holy cause is giving me 130k dps on its own.
I saw someone with a 2900 dps holy 2 hander legendary forgot the name, im at 800k dps right now, if i had that id break the million unbuffed. 2900 dps is just too high to pass up lol.

this only works in town, as soon as you move outside its back to 110% for me.

Really? Oh crap.. then disregard the disregard what a fucking mess hahaha...
I tested it and yeah, it looks like I wasn't wrong after all. So Paragon points into movespeed when you have Heavenly Strenght are indeed a waste.

You could always consider the Nephalem Majesty passive.
