Which classes and builds would you recommend for 2-player grift pushing with LoN Bombardment Crusader? Another dps? Is it possible to reach high Grifts with a LoNsader + support duo? Which support would be the best then?
I'd try barb (WW support build) or monk. Both can pull mobs together quickly (Wrenching Smash/Cyclone Strike), and both provide toughness and damage boosts (the monk buffs your damage significantly, the barb provides mostly toughness boosts). Question is how you wanna play - just some steady grinding XP without paying attention (then go for barb, as the added toughness will make it easier) or push to the limit (then I could see the monk performing a bit better).
You can also run with a second crusader. Whatever you do, however, the ceiling isn't very high. We tried a lot of things to get the Crusader work for steady 80s runs for gems/XP in groups and found that you'll always be about 10 levels below what you could do with a similarly geared wizard group. However, it can be a lot of fun as you don't need to fish and the damage is coming in in a more constant stream and you won't see a disaster of "omg RG not getting hit by any Twisters, we'll fail" ;-)
Thanks for reply! Any idea for a potential support monk build? Standard Globe one seems not-that-suitable to me, since I have very little use of the globe generation (outside of healing). Any idea what to change for Crus+Monk group, or is this more of a question for Monk forums?
The globes are still very helpful for healing purposes to be honest, especially since you'll be running around constantly picking them up. That's something people often forget about the meta; the healing aspect is as important (if not more important, in some situations) as the resource gain.
I'd probably switch the Mantra to MoS - Agility because the attack speed is useless for the crusader, and agility is another huge toughness boost.
I personally prefer Fists of Fury as generator for the monk - the health globe generation is just so much better than with Concussion. That is, if you stick to Solanium. If not, just use Thunderfury+Stormshield and a Vigilance in cube. Also get rid of the 2piece of the Thousand Storms set, use Aquila Cuirass+Illusory Boots+Inna's Pants. That frees up the armor cube slot (for Spirit Guards, or Nemesis, or St. Archew's Gage, ... so many options).
Since it's not part of the "meta" not a lot of people have extensively tested this yet, and you should just experiment for yourself to see whatever works.
