Hello there, I've been wondering how these two thingies work together. There seems to be a small delay on movement when casting bombardment, does the damage it does scale the moment you cast them (including +Phys damage from CoE and so on), or does it gradually increase while moving around when it's dropping? Trying to figure out how to use them together for optimal damage, is there some sort of trick on how to get best damage out of Hexing Pants, or is it just best to forget about them and use something like Pox Faulds for LoN/Bombardment-builds?
First it's important to know how Hexing Pants work. For Hexing Pants it is not important whether you move or not WHILE casting but BEFORE casting.
Second thing that's important to know is how Bombardement works. That skill snapshots buffs. So if you use Iron Skin and then Bombardement, all those barrels will do that increased damage from Iron Skin, even when it's not active anymore (for example: use Iron skin, wait 3 seconds, use Bombardement. It gets full buffed, although Iron Skin is not active while barrels hit the ground). When you use Bombardement and then Iron Skin after that, no barrel will get the dmg increase, even though Iron Skin is active while the barrels hit the ground.
There is one exception: CoE ring. This one is always dynamic. It has to be physical when barrels hit the ground.
With this knowledge, we can combine those 2 together:
When you move and then cast Bombardement, all barrels get buffed by Hexing Pants increased damage, even if you stop moving after that.
When you stand still, cast Bombardement and then start to move, no barrels will be buffed, even when you are moving while they hit the ground.
