I see a lot of 50+ Grift builds with out a wrath generator. I know the fleece will give you wrath back and the PM reduces the wrath cost of SB, but I still run out of wrath with out using a primary skill. I am just starting my crusader and have limited weapons, i don't have a fleece yet nor the PM. Rather than grinding blood shards on my barb and rolling for weapons, i would actually like to lower grift with my Crusader and build up his gems.
This works for t6, but there's no way im going to be able to grift over 35, too slow. I can build a bombardment build (have a mortal drama), but my dmg goes down to 750k and my max crit drops from 1.2b down to 100k.
If you go for SB, no special weapon is needed. In my case, the Piro Marella recipe drop very early, so I crafted the shield easily. With the PM, the shield glare, the 50% cost Law and Provoke, you shouldn't have wrath issues. A cindercoat is icing on cake.
With a sweep build, the flense is mandatory. Even with it, if you hit single mobs, you will have wrath problems. Try to hit as many mobs at the same time, and you will be fine (if you are running rifts, pray for a Guardian that generates mobs).
I cannot find a Cindercoat with three gem slots. Do these even exist anymore?
I didnt know that Piro was a craft able. I will see if i have the recipe and switch from sweep to sb and see if i can push some lvl 30+ grifts. I know i can do 25 with my current set up, but its just slow and i had to drop the mount for a wrath gen. I will have to see what i can scrounge up gear wise. This is a brand new alt so taking a while to gear.
Yes, the 3 slots are such a pain, most of the time you have to roll something to get them. If you google mannercookie fire shield bash, you will see that you only need 4 roland pieces, the bracers and the piro marella. Everything else is optional. I think it is the easiest way of starting torment 6. Good luck!!!
SB seems to be working a lot better, but my dps has drooped noticeably. I can clear quicker, but i hit for half of what i was. Just sad that i have to wait for the GF to do significant damage. I'll just have to keep farming blood shards with the barb and wait for the GF
I can see the potential for this class, but you really need key pieces. I'll just have to farm them before it's worth playing.
