Hey guys, today I go over the basics of the new Hammerdin set, with some G45/T10 gameplay. I also discuss general itemization concepts, 1h vs. 2h setups, playstyle, limitations, and more. Enjoy & discuss!
I don't think it's going to get nerfed. It's strong, but you're in melee all the time and have to mitigate damage so there comes a point where you have to go more defensive (1 defensive gem is likely to be used). The bracers are definitely BiS as they give you free hammers against 3 or less targets (so basically elite packs once trash is going and RG).
I consider them required, and the weapon you mention but I am kind of noob. I wore the bracers before the wipe the other day and cubed half a dozen other things to rotate between.
I play tested the other day don't sleep on the Justinians Mercy flail.... gives a ton of mobility when used in conjuction with whatever other rune of your choice.
Me personally I used the Johanna flail, cubed Justinians Mercy, used the rune that gives a chance for more hammers when struck. I also wore the blessed of haul belt with Justice, and used Focus and restraint...
I also cubed Obsidian Ring of the zodiac and the armor slot is honestly just up to preference in my opinion.
with that said I cleared Grift 50 fairly easily, and had to go get sleep for work in the morning with the wipe happening next day didn't get to test further...
overall with thrown together gear and a few hodge podge set up of skills and cubed items I think it was excellent

See how it works past 50 though. You can clear 50 pretty easily with nearly any Hammerdin build, but it gets rough after that depending on your gear/spec.

Mikhail, which element do you think is the best for hammer builds? fire/lighting? Do you think the new seasonal belt and legendary gems deserve to do a seasonal sader?
I am a casual player (Paragon 600), and I hate to start from zero (I have 500 forgotten souls waiting for the cube, hope to get al last an ancient Furnace).
On the other hand, not having a season 3 sader means I don't have Mutilation Guard gem, that will be so nice for my actual fire shield bash build...
I don't want to wait more than 3 months again for the belt or the new bosses legendary gem, so I am still thinking about going for season 4 or not...
What do you think?
P.S. I really appreciate your videos and sader posts

Probably Holy because of Limitless rune (50% extra damage essentially). Other elements are fun, but this one seems to do the most overall damage.
