Shrine farm? Immunity neck, hope for a boss? Feels like a weak barb atm. Anyone have any tips on how to kill a rift boss at 35+? I can do it with horses but it craps out around 36. Im going condemn but single target seems bad and blighter rips through me like wet paper.
Is the dh the only class who can kill a rift boss in under 5mins? Seems really bad design when all the classes (maybe pet wd) take longer to kill the boss than it does to clear the rift.
Pop the boss with 7+ minutes left leaving time to work on the RG. Hope for a good RG, I did my GR40 with the Bone Warlock who was a joke. I forget which RG I killed to complete my GR41, the one that spawned the Arcane Beams, wasn't too bad and I got lucky with a Shield Pylon (yes some people "pylon fish") that I was able to use and try to burn him down a bit quicker. My attempt on a GR42 was going good until I had Raziel (spelling) for a boss, he goes into some crazy lightning insta-kill mode around 25%. This is why some people favor immunity necklaces, it would of been a tank and spank with the immunity necklace - then fish for a good RG to pop, maybe that's why I see people favoring the poison resistance necks especially. There are maybe three or so RGs who deal poison damage.
There is a definite hole in this system that I am not sure Blizz is targeting to fix in Patch 2.2. Also I play Condemn, and I use a Unity ring combo to reduce my damage by 50%, doing GR37+ without that combo gets a little tough in my opinion.
I swapped to rolands, its a lot more fun but not really viable atm. Condemn is probably the worst end game spec in diablo 3, gonna shelf mine until the next patch or just delete since i need the char slot (and have a nice gem of ease). I managed to do a 37 but it is just too boring.
I use a mara on my barb, most of the bad bosses at high gr lvls are poison (ghom is almost impossible without shrines on tunnel maps). Raziel is an auto leave at higher lvls, without the neck you cannot get close to him. Even when you charge through him you take massive damage.
To clarify you can kill he 51 bosses under 7.5 mins I killed cold snap with power in 7.5 you really have to time your condemn super well or run a macro it's really up to you. Stonesinger on my gr52 kill took 5 mins to kill with power.
I too also think that players can kill bosses with the help of pylons. But ultimately what is the most important thing when killing a rift guardian is the degree of progression in the map and the bosses themselves. Why i find this is because when i did my 49 on sader (although not optimal gear), I had good density with decent mobs, but almost did not make it because with help of a conduit pylon. My time was 14:59.733 seconds when i completed it to kill bone warlock.
From my experiences, the mobs are important to kill the rg because act 1 progression, dust eaters, zombies, teddy bear rifts give you more time to kill the boss. Players who encounter act 2-5 mobs with low progression are not likely to kill the boss in time. Another deciding factor is the bosses themselves, ones with single target like voracity are much harder to kill depending on which class. Dh is easier than crusaders for single target dps. Anyway, the pylons are there for you to kill the boss more quickly, especially if there is more than 1 that's grouped in an area by the time a boss spawns.

Yup, Load for Bear. When he doesn't die. Reload for Bear.
I hire a Demon Hunter as a contract-hit-man when i need to take down RGs
