I would craft the Cain's Habit and Cain's Travelers set to start with. 2 piece set bonus is 8% attack speed. I would also try get gear with an elemental bonus.
1. Pick an element. You have + physical on your bracers, looked like that's your only + elemental damage item. As your progress its crucial that you stack a single element and have all your heavy damage abilities use that element.
2. Farm a RORG. I see you have 1-2 or two pieces of several sets. This is not useful. You're going to need the delicious set bonuses, and it's much easier to get them if you're using a RORG. Start farming those Act 1 bounties.
3. Don't just use 1 piece of a set unless that item is better than any random legend or even yellow item that could be there. Set bonuses are only useful if youre using them.
Once you get your RORG, you can keep your Borne's gear if you want, but assuming you have the recipe, I'd go for the shoulder + wrist combo of Aughilds. Any character I have that doesn't require one of those slots for the 6 piece set bonus, I use Aughilds, as the + / - elite damage is nice. Some people also like the Captain Crimson set for CDR, or Asheara's for tankiness. Also if you have them, Blackthornes gets alot of flack for being unwanted due mostly I think to how frequently it drops, but it can be a nice stepping stone towards t6, particularly for melee classes.
So here's my plan for you - farm act 1 bounties for caches, so you can get a RORG. It may drop in 10; more likely it will take close to 100 to get one, maybe more. The statiics I've seen from people that have opened a ton have it at about a 2% drop rate, so if your luck is average, it should drop around your 50th cache. To do act 1 runs, join the Bounty Runz community and find a group. They may get a little cranky if you're really slow though so make sure you're doing your bounty as quickly as you can.
After you've got your RORG, you should have a ton of rift keys. Use the Rift it Forward communities to farm shards, figure out which set you want (EQ, IK, or Raekors) and gamble it up one piece at a time.
An alternative to RIF'ing, you can also join the Barbarian community and look for people doing shared loot runs. Everyone shares any item they don't need, so if you're at the bottom of the power curve, pretty much everyone will be giving you gear. If you want to run on the higher torments, I would suggest you tell people you'll open all rifts if they are willing to carry you.
If you follow my plan, you should get geared up in a couple of days, I bet you;ll be t4 viable in 10-12 hours and t6 in maybe 20-25, depending on what your paragon level currently is.

Okay, I am about to be the biggest dumbass on the planet... What's RORG?
RORG = Ring Of Royal Grandeur, It basically allows you to use set bonuses but with one less piece of that set, allowing you to stack multiple set bonuses, or choose an off-piece for either more elemental damage, or another useful stat, rather than being forced to use the set item for that slot.
Hope that makes sense.
Thank you, yes it does... And I'm currently working on farming bounties and stuff but it's taking absolutely forever.
One piece of advice to help speed up your chances would be to join a Bounty community. You can find plenty of groups using them to farm A1 by splitting the bounties up amongst the party. Since you're still working on gear, you'd probably want to find a group farming normal for speed and efficiency.

I tried joining a community but no one wanted to talk to me.
Also, does the difficulty matter? I've been trying torment 1 and it's been long, but not really a pain. I LITERALLY know nothing about how this works, so pardon if I sound dumb as hell.

You'll want to search for the "Bounty Runz" or "Bounty Split Farming" communities. Every time you log on, you'll have to open the communities tab and enter chat. You can say something like LF A1 Splits Normal, or whichever difficulty you wanted to do it on. Or you can wait and join groups people are advertising for.
Higher Torments do have a higher chance at having legendary drops in them, but I think the general consensus is that split farming on normal still ends up being the most efficient. I may be a bit outdated in that though as I've not farmed it for some time.
