Someone has said how do you run t6 as a Raekor barb? I have a hard time surviving ect. Well Here's the video and my in game stats and my armory can be found in my sig. I opened a random rift and didn't hunt for a great density rift and this is the first time Ive played my barb in weeks.
i agree, i was a lightning barb for awhile, tried hota and whirldwind builds, i dont hayve any set items though, my barb is like my 3rd or 4th best geared of my toons, i have pretty decent gear, not super high end, but i switched to fire, and i love fire way more, i just run throwing weapon and hota, i've also tried whirlwind, and so far fire seems to hit a lot harder for me, i clear faster as fire than i did with lightning
its sad cuz u'd think with a lightning setup, with a fulminator, and a TF or something, and then with thundergods vigor, and all the +lightning stuff, still seems lightning is the weaker of the 2 builds, at least to me, maybe theroycrafted damage they are equal or closer, but in aucutal game time so far i think fire is a bit better, and i i've heard its way better once you get full earth set too
I like lightning better visually and roleplaying wise, its awesome to be a thundergod i'm holding onto my gear though, maybe in 2.1 i'll try lightning again
This shows there's no reason to stick to raekor or lightning barb in any kind of combination.
Even with good rolls on gear the performance is still abysmal.
Hmm lets see here, No harrington and no rift searching for a "fast clear" I don't even know how you can say this is bad mr seismic slam barb.
What's your point? You got a decent density rift and a bad clear time.
Fire-earthquake builds are far ahead of anything else barb has to offer. Meanwhile, it is far behind what other classes have to offer.
9 minutes is not a bad clear time at all for a witching hour belt. People seem to forget the point of the game is to have FUN. If you like eq barb more than raekor, than all the power to you. This build still isn't bad lol and anyone who thinks it is, has a meager brain. Imagine if blizzard randomly decided to nerf harrington, which every build is almost based off of. Im sorry but in terms of fun gameplay raekor>all and if I want fast clears ill 2 shot t6 on my dh.
barry when you have 45% CD reduction you dont need HOTA to attack...Furious Charge already does more damage and has every rune....that is the point of your set....you gimp your build (and your speed) by cluttering your action bar with skills that do the same thing and don't take advantage of your set bonuses
holy shit just noticed Frenzy too somehow did not before....thats an extremely noob thing to do.... Why would you fit one skill slot with something that removes your ability to use your Raekors set bonus, Charge, or even HOTA (you can only frenzy, be charging, or HOTA at one time simultaneously). It's like you're only using half of your skills and none of your characters strengths
When you have 45% CD reduction on a 10s CD skill....that loses 2s CD for every mob hit...either use the skill because it will be up virtually 100% of the time, or don't use it. Don't have it sit on your bar and waste as you stand and spam other skills. Pointless
Why on earth would you have a fury generator assigned to your Primary slot that only generates a measly 3 fury per attack when you also have slotted a 100% uptime AoE spammable skill that gives you 10 fury per mob hit and does magnitudes more damage? I mean seriously, this is elementary stuff

Well since its elementary, let me teach you some things.
Furious charge has a cd regardless, so you suggest when fighting a rift guardian and single target to eliminate frenzy? which does incredibly good damage by the way. You would be gimping yourself completely in certain situations.
Furious charge does more damage than hota? am I missing something? or do you not realize area damage + hota and bloodshed does incredible damage and lets not forget the procing shard of hate all day.
Every time you charge and pull mobs with strongarms it increases damage by whatever % you're using, making hota mixed with bloodshed really strong.
45% cdr is for 30 second downtime on wotb without gimping damage too heavily.
You had to spam 5 posts why? and you looked silly in all of them with zero intelligence in the mix. EQ really is not that much faster and its not fun, especially since the big "bugfix" ill play raekor barb over eq anyday as its an incredibly fun mechanic.
i use the exact same build/gear combination(except WH) on my alt toon. compared to my main full cdr eq, its fully optimzied for solo rifting but way too density dependent.
Well done mate, I've been working so hard to get full Raekors going on my barb. It's good to see that you're having fun with it and that it's also pretty viable given that you have some other gear to respect it.
Nice job on replying on the naysayers too, it shows you know your build and you have fun with it. Which unfortunately a lot of players seem to forget that not all of us take this game as seriously as they might.

I've tried lightning (and fire for that matter) with Raekor's and found it a bit lacking sadly. At the same time, with recent changes to Leapquake... that build isn't as fun as it used to be. I ran Cold w/slam, but they nerfed cold rune to no longer proc Strongarms (or according to the tooltip removing the knockup), and instead mixed in Overpower (momentum) to make up the lost fury. Overall it worked okay combined with HotA, but Barb seems to be in an unfortunate place right now compared to other classes.
I ran your build, almost exactly (without a Witching because I'm unlucky!), swapping that with Tgods, and it wasn't too shabby. Still, I find my Crusader more enjoyable, both solo and in group play @ T6. Having experienced Raekor, I will admit 9 minutes is a pretty good time, especially with a lower density rift. I also prefer to play more relaxed, not constantly rushing through as fast as possible, so I can appreciate just playing a build you enjoy rather than what everyone else says is "best".
