I rarely play with her, mostly because all of her builds that I knew of (like the thunder ww build and the leap/earthquake one) are very gear intensive. Recently, however,I got some nice fire gear drops on my crusader (he's holy specced) so I decided to use those gear on my barb try to make a fire build (very excited to finally get a cindercoat to drop! Been looking for one for my monk forever but whatever...)
I looked through the forums and a lot of the fire barb builds I see are very gear intensive late game oriented. I don't have Lut socks or the 4 piece might of the earth set. I am however rocking +70% fire damage currently, wrong amulet and all. So I was hoping to get some advice on what an appropiate skill setup would be until I can land some better gear.
What I'm hoping for:
1. I'm looking to avoid weapon throw, because I'm a BARB!!!! I don't want to be some ranged pew pew-ing character I want to dive in the middle of everything and kill things, then do it again!
2. Something that synergizes well would be fun. I'd also prefer an interactive build where I am spamming more than just one skill.
This is my current build as of late. I use a pretty simple set up with high damage, survivability, and control. I farm T4 very efficiently while still hunting down that last piece of earth quake, and Ik I'm missing to tie it all together. I just got my Lut Socks, so any day now I'm crossing my fingers for that final piece. So the rotation is quick, I use Ground Stomp with Wrenching Smash to round up clusters of mobs, lay down an Avalanche with Volcano, then Smash them to bile & blood using Hammer of the Ancients with Smash off course. The fillers I use in between Ground Stomp cd are, Whirlwind with Volcanic Eruption mows down white mobs, and Bash with Instigation for a fury generator on the fly just to keep things moving on single target. I'm using Reapers's Wraps while using Battle Rage with Sword of Ploughshares since I have over 50% crit chance and, see tons of health globs keeping me in the fight w/o ever really needing the fury generator on almost all AOE fights.
Passives I bounced around through a few of these early on using Rampage, Unforgiving, Superstition, and Ruthless was pretty self exclamatory. Now in days since I'm using the 3 piece IK, I replaced Unforgiving with Bloodthirst combined with Superstition allows you to sit in *some* ground effects spamming your Hammer for life when in a bind. I eventually replaced Ruthless with Weapons Master only because I crafted a Devastator to push over 100% fire skill damage and 50% crit chance with it being a mace.
If your looking to gear into this it's a slow grind, it's good you have the Cindercoat and Magefist for they are the entry items into fire barb from what I've been told. I hope you this sort of helped out. I'm no where in comparison to some of these late game barbs, but I'm climbing up there.
I've not played much with my barb in ros either, but managed to find a firebuild I enjoy. You are at about my gear-level, so maybe this will work for you as well.
Not amazing gear, but can do t1-t2 solo at least. Leap and stomp is used pretty much on cd for max rage generation. While whirlwinding, i can pretty much keep it going forever, thanks to unforgiven, superstition and cindercoat.

I can see what you see not. Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone. Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be. Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind. Cast down into the Halls of the Blind
Your current spec looks alright the only thing you need is battlerage bloodshed instead of overpower. You can change it up pretty easy as well frenzy/bash, hota, battle rage are mandatory then you got 3 skills left I'm using furious charge, war cry, wotb but any combination of leap, earthquake, ancients, avalanche works.
Crafted Asheara's boots, shoulders with AR and healthglobe bonus and extra AR from 2set would be a nice healing and defensive boost. That neck is pretty bad only got 90% CHD really, a rare with fire damage, strength, crit,CHD will be better even with less then optimal rolls.
Is Battlerage/Bloodshed necessary when I'm running HotA? I seem to have fairly decent AoE without it, I picked overpower at random because of the fury gen, but I'll give it a try.
As per the amulet, you would think finding a rare with fire str crit dam crit chance, or 3/4, would be easy, but I haven't found any! I tried gambling for it but 1. its massively expensive and 2. i've been unlucky there too!
I'm at the point where I can do T1 content alright, just for fun I tried T3, where it was a race between "can I kill you all before you two shot me?" What are the things that I need to make the transition between T1 to T3, because my toughness (which is like at 3 mil) sure as hell won't cut it...
