I am wondering how you guys spend your paragorn points. Can you explain me why you choose to place them there and not somewhere else? There is a lot to choose from and id like to learn how make my barb an even better killing machine. ;-)
Other then that i placed points in MS as i am only wearing 1 item to increase it currently. Also place stats in more fury.
My offense points are evenly spread out between CHC and CHD
At defense i have placed everything in all res, 160 total, just to get more toughness.
For utility i choose LoH for a total of 32 points. I can imagine however choosing for resource reduction here as well.
So pls let me know what you did and why ;-)
Also if you think i can tweak my gear better or have pointers for me, pls feel free to let me know.
Primary all into STR because it doubles as both offensive and defensive and I'm not too concerned about MS unless I'm running my clearing build for quick killing on a lower difficulty, at which point it's easy to swap.
Offensive I've maxed Crit Dmg and with my leftovers into Crit Chance. This is because my crit chance is already very high and I get more out of the crit damage per point.
For Defensive I've maxed Life Regen and leftovers are going into All Res. The reasoning behind this is it's just too easy to make up the resists with diamonds in sockets and healing is much more valuable at 70 than it used to be at 60. With 50 points into it, I get something along the lines of 8300 health per second and it does help.
Utility you just can't go wrong with LoH for reasons outlined above. Healing is just extremely important. However, when I do my clearing build, I like area damage but resource reduction isn't a bad choice here either. However, when I'm running a clearing build I generally don't have any issue managing my fury and think area damage is the better choice overall.
As for giving you advice on how to tweak your gear, it's hard to say because from what I can tell viewing my own profile, it doesn't display items that have been modified by the mystic properly. As a result, I could only give very generalized and vague suggestions on what you should do. Your standard STR/Crit/Crit Dmg etc applies and get it where you can. It's all pretty standard stuff. Beyond that, you're getting into very specific builds. IE: stacking +% fire damage and using fire skills, relying on very specific pieces of gear like Stone of Jordan and Andariel's Visage. So, if/when you find these pieces, bank them until you can build a set for a playstyle you like then go with it.

agree with both previous responses and just want to point out a few things.
Your paragon pts will be dependent on your current gear / setup. For example, I think once you have enough paragon points you should try to max out your move speed and then put the remainder in STR. The justification is that paragon pts are free and if you calculate the 50 pts into move speed vs 50 extra pts into strength then you are probably getting more bang for your buck with movement speed. This means your gear slots like boots / bracers / pants that have +move speed are no longer dependent on this primary stat and you can reroll for something extra.
50 paragon pts into strength = 250 strength
VS.
50 paragon pts into movement + reroll +move speed on boots for 400 to 500 str
The other thing I did was I went full life regen both in terms of gear + paragon pts because I have enough +all res gear right now. As I slowly get more paragon points, I plan on switching it over to all res and using my sockets for something else. Until then, I went life regen on paragon.
Again, probably more dependent on what your gear is than anything else.
For Core, I agree that move speed is the first thing to max. I put enough points into it to cap at 25% when combined with other gear. If possible, I re-roll move speed off of items and just use my paragon points instead. After speed, I generally do strength. I may eventually do max resources on some characters, depending on build.
In Offense, because I use whirlwind, I take enough attack speed to hit an attack frame breakpoint then I put points into crit damage or crit % in order to keep them balanced at 1:10 like a previous poster suggested.
In Defense, I tend to max either all resist or life per second, depending on whether I want toughness or sustainability.
In Utility, I pick life on hit if I want sustainability. Otherwise, I sometimes take resource reduction for prolonged whirling. I plan to switch to area damage when I have enough fury generation.

Looted lot socks and therefore using leap now. Its quite fun and seems to solve my previous fury generating problems.
