Currently i am farming MP2 with Rend - Bloodlust instead of warcry impunity. Not sure if my profile is up to date, but i use 3% LS passive. My Barb: http://eu.battle.net...65/hero/7827085
I dropped my 36% MF ammy for something with more vit and dps, but i still get raped in higher MP lvls.
I tried OP - crushing advance and even that with warcry - impunity combined with the loss of bash.
So do i just suck at playing a barb or what parts should get upgraded?
Right now i just die to fast and feel like i hardly get healed while killing stuff. I only see my life bulb go down...
With my dps i should be fine with 5.9% LS, should i not? Unbuffed i have 77k dps
I dont see what your probelms are. You didnt state if you are having problems staying alive, killing fast enough to stay effecnient, problems with fury managment, ect.
for me, i dont see how your having any problems with yoru gear/dps.
66k dps unbuffed lets me solo mp5 like a breeze. the only things i die to is those damn bird bat beast things in act 3.
I run the ww spec with rend bl isntead of warcry/opca and weapon throw mighty throw instead of bash. I have -4 wpcr on my belt and i run the weapon throw passive so it returns a shton of fury. also, the single target is huge and lets me sit back on nastier single target elites.
my recomendation is this (purely based off of personal experience):
1. get enough EHP to not get instantly gibbed
2. get lifesteal. I have 3 on belt and 3 on offhand dagger
3. get some serious freaking dps!!!!!!!!! - your dps not only defines fast you can kill things, but also determines your survivability paired with lifesteal. I did mp10 today with only 66k dps on my barb, but i had just enough ehp/ls/dps to face tank elites for 20 minutes XD (the moment i made that testing/fuckign around game.... 3 pple joined my game who were at 30-40k dps and were on the ground half the time). So. moral of hte story, get a bit tanky, slap on some LS, and rock the fck out of dps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11one!!!!one!2
I personally don't see the point in farming high mp levels.
The increase in MF/GF certainly doesn't justifies it.
You want to kill fast, that's the best thing to do in order to maximize your legendary drops.
So I farm act 3 MP 0 or act 1/2 MP 1.
That let's you switch passives and stuff too.
This is a serious post. Like said if for some reason my play-style sucks id like to get some pointers on how to improve. After all this is a forum where one can ask for help, is it not? I have worked very hard to get where i am now with my barb and if i can improve myself even further that would be nice.
When i engage mobs i dash out a few hits to get fury going, then get BR up and start ww around the mobs. From time to time i rend and get WotB up with elites. In smaller aera' s i ww through mobs.
In higher MP i get killed easily from elites.
You can also fairly cheaply upgrade your neck and helm, which should help. Your strength is low, as is your AR, by increasing both of them, it should help considerably. You should also try to pick up some extra armor where you can, as your armor is extremely low right now. You can also pick up some extremely cheap Fire Walkers on the AH right now, especially without vit. Depending on your budget, with some smart purchases, you should have no issues upgrading what is needed.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Fallactic-1486/hero/4854125 is my profile, and I have no trouble clearing MP8 decently easily. With my stats, using OP-CA is better than Rend because I can keep OP up basically 100% of the time against elites. Since you also have decent lifeleach, I actually whirlwind through mobs if im not low on health (rare for me to be low) because my whirlwinds are critting for around 60k per WW, which adds a considerable abount to the lifeleach. There isnt a single item of my gear that i spent over 12 million on (and this was weeks ago, the last upgrade that I got was my worthy blaze ring for 3.25 mil last week).
Rend is nice to have, but it is somewhat conditional on your personal dps as well as mob density. I logged out with my shout on, otherwise I have around 73k damage unbuffed. Though my gear isnt amazing by any means, it is somewhat of a "budget" build that used the AH to its fullest potential by sniping auctions. My advice to you is to keep your eyes on the AH for an awesome deal, and if you have any issues with whether or not it is okay to add or drop stats, I plugged your character into d3up, and over on the right side, you can see how an increase in each stat would effect your overall dps and survivability. http://d3up.com/b/76663 is your character sheet unbuffed. From what I see, your EHP (the amount of raw damage that it takes to kill you based on defensive abilities) is really low at 350k. Since you have more raw dps than I do, you should work on getting your EHP up to survive better on higher difficulty.
My guess would be DPS and sustainance, and balance them well. BTW rend crits, I didnt know, I feel like I found the holy grail
Rend does indeed crit, but not in the normal sense. It can not proc any on hit proc (like the battle shout rune), nor does it really count as a true crit. It is instead a critical series of ticks, and all that really means is that it tends to hit a little bit harder. That being said, using the healing rune for rend does make the crits desirable especially if you tend to kite, however for those who like to aggressively play a WW barb, rend doesnt provide the mitigation that other abilities can.

Thanks, this was really helpfull.
I just sold some wand for 23m, my biggest sale thusfar What should i aim for when i upgrade my neck?
I dont really understand what EHP is.
I just bought fire walkers with 150+ stre for 7m and also melee reduction of 4%
Also IK Irons with AR and other bracers more CHC and AR.
My dps dropped 7K now, but i have 60% CHC unbuffed now which indeed allows me to keep OP on all the time. Noticed a huge difference in playing MP2, now ill check in higher MPers.
EHP is basically the amount of mitigated damage that it would take to kill you. Say you had 0 armor, 0 all resist, and no passive damage reduction whatsoever. In that case, just the amount of vitality that you have is your EHP (the amount of damage that it takes to kill you). Since armor, all resist, and other abilities such as melee damage reduction make it so that you take less damage, your effective health rises. Even given that you have a certain amount of life (37k), that number is not your effective HP. In simpler terms, your EHP is the amount of life that you have the equivalence to if you had no mitigation tools whatsoever (dodge, all resist, reductions). So, saying that your EHP is 350k according to d3bit means that given your defensive stats, you have the equivalence of 350k life. Going back to my earlier 0 armor 0 resists example, the amount of damage you would survive through given that situation would be 350k.
That being said, if I were you, I would consider either first upgrading your offhand to either a sword or dagger that keeps around the same LOH, adds lifesteal, or dropping the LOH for lifesteal on it. For about 4 million, you can find a pair of really nice fire walkers (for referance, my fire walkers were 3 million) on the AH with some vit and high strength, but seeing as you are in need of all resist, you can forgo the vit on the boots, and instead aim for some high strength/AR fire walkers. You may want to consider replacing those Lacuni wrists with ones with some crit on them, but thats personal preference, as you already have pretty high crit as it stands. If possible, try to find a ring similar to your dream warrant with some all resist, as that will also give you a significant boost in EHP. Your shoulders are quite nice, but you can find a pair with basically the same stats, and also have life% which would help you out quite a bit.
According to the website I linked, the lacunis you have are giving you the least benefit combined between EHP and DPS, which may warrant (an allbeit painful) change to regular bracers that have high str, 5-6% crit, and all resist (if you add vit on the bracers, they become very expensive). You may also want to consider the possibility of lowering such stats as your crit damage in favor of more AR, or vit. While this will lower your dps by anywhere from 2-8k, the net survivability you get from it is worth it.
For upgrading your neck, I would try to keep those same stats, and try to get some LOH or attack speed on it depending on whether or not you will need the healing from LOH. If you are still having issues with survival, consider taking a amulet with less crit, but more str/vit along with maybe some AR. You can afford to lose the +damage mod from it as it is a superficial dps boost. As it stands, your offhand weapon is way better than your mainhand one, so I would try to get a new mainhand mace/axe that has some crit damage and forego the LOH from it if possible. If you dont want to do that, than grab a new mainhand with a little less LOH, but with lifeleach to help you survive.
Also how do you kill either large groups of enemies, or elites. Do you do the kiting method and just let your tornados do the damage, or do you tend to make tight circles around enemies. The key to surviving (especially if slightly undergeared for your MP), is to keep your WOTB up as much as you can. Against large groups of enemies, this is easy as long as you remember to be dumping rage constantly. WOTB will not gain any time on its duration if you are full on rage, as you can not gain any rage. If you are the type that likes to use whirlwind as another primary source of damage, you will want to make sure that you dont completely empty your rage so that you cant keep sprint up, but you also dont want to have your rage be full all the time. While it may look like your rage isnt moving against large packs, if you are spamming abilities that cost rage (to the point of reason), than the duration on WOTB should not move.
The way I play (I have similar stats to you, except more health and armor) is by starting by basing enemies (if I dont have the initial rage to start sprinting/whirlwinding), and either gather enemies up, or start making my circles. What this means is that if the enemies are melee enemies, I will keep sprint up while whirlwinding around the outer edge of the pack of enemies (or single enemy like those giant crab things). The lifeleach that I get from the whirlwinds combined with the tornadoes means that I basically never run our of rage regardless of how much I try to spam sprint and battle rage to keep my rage bar low, especially with WOTB. If you are having issues with the duration of WOTB against a single enemy, what I like to do is to spam sprint and battle rage while bashing the enemy. Since your attack speed is high, you will be able to spam these abilities as fast as you want, and as long as you are bashing the enemy, you wont run out of rage, and also have the added bonus of having the rage that you are gaining from the bashes adding extra time to your WOTB.
All things considered, you may actually want to up the monster power. A large part of your problem could very well be that the enemies are dying too fast. If they die too fast, you will not be able to keep up your rage or healing, as you need your abilities to hit fast, and multiple times in order to gain benefit from them. Try out either MP3 or 4, and see if you are having the same exact problem. The best places to test this (IMO) are in act 3 keep depths 2, as it has some of the best mob density, and elite density in the game, and will allow you to properly gauge what the issue truly is.
I wish that I played on EU so that i could personally help you out with either your playstyle by seeing it, or by being able to help you find great deals on the AH and whatnot.
Thanks a lot for putting so much time in explaining and responding. It is much appreciated!
I just spend roughly 20m on FireWalkers, IK Irons and bracers with AR and CHC. Buffed my CHC is now 63%
Just tried MP3 which was nice, although it seemed to take longer to kill stuff.
My healing was nice.
What i do is sprint and ww at the same time and then just make circles at the outer edges of the mobs. After these few upgrades i noticed that getting rage has become significantly easier, keeping OP-CA up is very easy now (the ping to remind u that it is ready, is very nice), i am duping rage by pushing BR. If i am low on HP i just sprint around mobs.
I tried MP5, i didn't die, but it took very long to kill stuff, which doesn't make it effective for me atm.

It depends on what you mean by "it took very long". Do you mean more than 20 seconds for elites? If so, than its perfectly understandable, given how the HP scales. Remember that your dps according to your character sheet does not reflect your true dps, so your actual dps is higher than it states. If you are having issues with kill speed (for mobs that mostly stand still), try whirlwind through them in addition to around them. Every hit of whirlwind that you can squeeze in is a lot of extra damage given crits... it also procs more tornados in the middle too. Popping OP when in the middle of adds whenever its up also really boosts your effectiveness. Even though you made the changes, the dps gains/losses that you made will allow you to probably farm mp4-6 decently comfortably, albeit a little bit slower.
I just got 5 stacks in MP5, even killed 2 elite mobs at the same time. My HP stay up great now, so i think u were right mobs where going down to feast before. So thanks for making me a better killing machine ;-0 I think i now what the problem was, i mostly only used Wotb when there where elites, now i try to keep it up longer and that helps. Although keeping it up isn't quite easy as i have to spam BR all the time to dump rage, which quite often isn't enough...
High MP for ubers and keys. MP0 Act 3 and MP1 for Act 1/2 for efficient farming of exp and loot. At least according to what I have read and seen talked about from Moldran and Jaded on youtube.
Maybe something u all already know, but i just found out. With WotB up just making circles with sprint around them, kills elites very fast, pretty neat actually

How do u do this effectively?
Honestly, the best way to keep it up is if the group is starting to dwindle down, I will do another circle or 2 around them, then start searching for the next pack. If its a creature with more health (like the big crab things), i will actually just sit still and bash it while mashing sprint and battle rage as fast as I can to burn off rage to get the duration of WOTB back up. You can really do this with any mob, but it works best on mobs with high HP. I also do this when the duration of my WOTB is waning while killing elites that run away like those porcupine dudes.
Alright, but now that my CHC is over 60% having rage is no issue at all. The problem is more that once i pop WotB that my fury stays at maximum all the time, and i am having a hard time dumping enough rage fast enough.

What the posters above me holds true about attack speed, however I personally am not a huge fan of mighty weapons, especially if you are having issues dumping rage, as when I tried a mighty weapon, I had the same problem. The way that I counter rage capping is that I basically spam sprint and battle rage like crazy. When I did siege/ZK uber with my friends last night (2 WD and a DH), I had no issues with losing WOTB, and managed to pretty easily kill siege right as they were finishing ZK on MP6. Like I said, if you are finding that WOTB is starting to get low on duration, and your only facing a few (or just one) enemies, what I do is just stand still and bash while spamming sprint and battle rage. You dont have to actually use the sprint, but you can activate it to help burn off some rage. Using this little trick, I can get my WOTB to go from 2-3 seconds left to full in no time at all.
