I also did a compare with a close to perfect Skorn and a witching hour belt on the standard HotA build*, and came very close to beating the throw build. (i think this build would outdps the throw build if i had more IAS)
I wish blizzard would give us more MPL levels to play with, instead they are nerfing the endgame unneeded.
You are one of several millions of players, and of those players, far less than 1% have the gear you have. For the other 99.9% of other players, monster power is absolutely fine where it is. Asking for it to be adjusted further so you can feel a challenge on a character you have literally "maxed out" is pretty silly. Start a new character on hardcore and do MP10 the whole way through if you're looking for a challenge.

Again, this problem can be solved really easy: Blizz shall just place several elite packs together and link them with each other (excluding possibility of separating them). Try 8-12 affixes at a time if you're so pro! =P
These builds are definitely amusing. However unfortunately they are never going to match sprint's farming efficiency simply because movement speed is much more important than damage dealing, and besides, sprint deals a lot of damage too if not more (assuming equal level/budget of gear).
Even just having to stop in order to attack is enough to make a build inferior.
Maybe if they made high monster power pay off rather than be a waste of time for farming, then these super-high-damage builds would make more sense. But since the bonuses for high MP are useless, you are bound to farm lower MP levels where you faceroll everything even if your DPS is 400k, and at those MP levels movement speed is much much more important.
Sorry to ruin the part, and no disrespect to the OP, as after all this is a cool variation that's funny to see from time to time, but if people want to be efficient they really shouldn't be trying to do this.
kinda serious question. (please read next sentence in caps in a shouting manor)
How in the hell do you deal with reflect damage mobs? (end shouting)
with only 3% lifesteal, i just dont see how its possible O_O?
Damage mitigation is the key word here.
The more you got the "better" your lifesteal/hp sec/life on hit gonna be for you.
Like if u have a barb with 100k life and semi good allres+armor, giving him a EHP of 1.5mil.
And a other barb have 50k life and very good allres+armor, also giving him a EHP of 1.5mil.
Now if both players have 1000loh, the 100k hp barb only get 1% hp (+15000 EHP) back from one hit.
The 50k hp barb get 2% hp (+30000 EHP) back per hit.
So even if both barbs have the same EHP, the loh is twice as effective on the high damage mitigation barb.
And its the same with lifesteal/liferegen/life on hit like i said above.
In my case i have a pretty high dps that scales perfect with lifesteal + high damage mitigation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the ideal for a barb is around 50-60k hp. Better to stack mitigation after you reach that point.
Also i cant find the link right now, but reflect damage from moobs are physical. Thats why iam stacking physical res, and for pvp ofc. (weapons do mostly physical damage)

The 2 vids in this thread are only for singel target dps, call it a benchmark vs azmodan. (if u haven't noticed there is some rivalry going on)
The ww+tornado build is a faster farming build at low mpl levels. But at high mpl levels, the throw + hammer stomp it. (goblins are easy at mpl10 as shown in video)
I have better gear now then i had i those videos, so farming is a little faster now.

I found the "thought to be best dps builds" for barbs, and had a look how much i could squeeze out of them.
Here is my results
Diablo 3 DPS build: My 2662k dps damage output throw barb @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxiqla9BVJ0
Azmodan kill time = 52 seconds (monster power level 10)
Measured from the first hit (31sec) and until he was dead (1min and 23 sec)
Azmodan had 138425408 health points:
138425408/52= ~ 2662027/1000= ~2662k dps
Build here: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#fZQRkP!ZYf!aZZacc
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also did a compare with a close to perfect Skorn and a witching hour belt on the standard HotA build*, and came very close to beating the throw build. (i think this build would outdps the throw build if i had more IAS)
Diablo 3 DPS build: My 2611k dps damage output HotA barb @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFMZPpfp72o
Azmodan kill time = 53 seconds (monster power level 10)
Measured from the first hit (33sec) and until he was dead (1min and 26 sec)
Azmodan had 138425408 health points:
138425408/53= ~ 2611800/1000= ~2611k dps

*= thx to Freudian for showing me the HotA build.
My battlenet profile @ http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Det0x-2856/hero/432203
I was afraid i would only get flammed with stuff like "pay 2 win" and pastic barb etc etc.
Thx agein
Some ppl have been asking me to post a video of me farming with this build.
But this spec is especially designed for singel target dps, and wouldn't do so good in farming.
So i thought i could post a vid of the build iam normally using when iam farming.
So the recipe for perma WotB barb throw barb is:
1: Get me melee class character
2: Use a ranged build
3: Played as a melee character
4: Who say goblins @ MPL 10 is hard to kill ? xD
MPL10 with perma WotB throw build @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu-pJ_pq4MA
They do stack, so weapon throw cost only 1 fury.
I wonder how much gold/$ was invested in this sick gear...

As mentioned, needing more MP levels is just a paradox, as You have the gear players farm lower MP levels to progress!
This is my result: (44sec)
If we do the math on the updated kill we get:
Azmodan had 138425408 health points:
138425408/44=3146032
3146032/1000= ~3146 k dps --> 3.1 million damage per sec
