Hey fellow barbarians, I have a question that has been brewing in my mind for a while..
Can any of you, recommend me a spec that isnt tank or Ww+sprint?
Seeing that my barb is stuck on ghom on inferno Act 3, and I simply dont know what im doing wrong, my thoughts went to my spec. But im not crazy with the widespread use of the double tornado spec.. and a barb doesnt tank in my world.

Try using Frenzy and Furious charge with (Dreadnought) the Healing Rune. Also theres 1 passive(Superstition) that reduces elemental damage by 20%. With your LOH and the speed from Frenzy, you might be able to face tank him or heal on his minions between earthquakes. Maybe replace your Strength gems with Vitality ones. Seems like I did him with a simalar build post patch. Now I'm set up as WW and just start the game after him. The rest of the bosses are cake as a WW.
I just got that Skorn the other day which has made me unkillable. Don't fret however, I ran a very cheap version of this build pre-skorn with 60k sheet dps, 72k with Bash stacks. The difference being I had a 1200 DPS, 2H mace with 400 Str, 150 Vit, and a socket for 2.2M (maybe I got lucky).
With CD's rolling and full stacks up, solo my DPS was ~220K with that mace and my current gear (and I have a lot that could still be upgraded in terms of DPS vs MF)
If you can nab a Skorn you can look forward to 80k sheet DPS, 110K with Bash stacks up. With CDs rolling solo I am at ~270K, when I run with a WD in my farm group I am at ~340K with totem (to give you an idea one rend if the initial hit crits can take a champ pack down to about 30-35% health with a 4 person group solo, you'll love it).
So as you can see the build can just get silly fun. If you run less MF gear the damage can really start to blow up. It isn't quite as fast as WW, but much more fun for me, I actually feel like I am playing a barb again. This weekend when I have time I think I might drop Leap for Earthquake just for the lawls to see how fast things melt.

I've been playing WW Barb for a while now...and I tried 2h/rend recently...i found it waaayyyyy too slow, regarding both farming speed and reaction speed...which made it not worth playing to me :/
If you play WW/Tornado, once you get going, it should be impossible to die...except for aoe heavy groups like molten + arcane enchanted + descecrator...the more loh, the more likely it will be to survive
And the farming speed is simply amazing...
ResShout -> Battle Rage -> Bash for Fury -> Sprint around him and once you got tornados up -> WW+Wrath and sprint him to death...
The most important stat for WW Barb sadly is crit...you need crit to make proper use of battlerage+into the fray and sustain enough rage to sprint/ww...
I tried out the Merciless Assault build, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Though, I quit D3 pretty early on, returning and buying really meh gear during 1.0.3, I now have around 100,000 gold and everything is inflated so much that buying gear is not an option, and farming gear to sell is also pretty much a no go since my current gear is crap.
I feel like I quit at the worst time possible, I've pretty much quit playing again because I'm practically slamming my head into a brick wall any time I attempt to do anything on my Barb.
Reminds me of an MMO I used to play where a handful of people got on top of the economy early on and no one ever got anywhere ever again.
