I have no problems with acts 1 and 2, die to act 3 very few times, but i have a lot of trouble with certain affix mobs. I do have the weapons to do double WW, along with a decent LOH ammy (i can get like 1400 LOH), but I dont like the playstyle of it.
The rend heal is kind of nice, but I have been considering swapping nerves of steel for the 3% healing because I tend to hit so hard. Is the 3% true 3% or is it lessened by inferno?
Also should I change some gear around more tanky gear?
It just feels like I dont have a concrete direction with my Barb, and has made many situations very scary, with me just barely living.
Lifesteal has a 80% nerf in inferno so 3% becomes 0,6% with your dps its still decent but I would stick to the armor passive.
I would get a bit more tanky gloves with just crit chance and upgrade the gem in your weapon to 80-90%. Your vitality is a bit low maybe get some on your amulet/bracers or helm with socket.
The most important thing to change is your spec since your gear is pretty decent. Two fury spenders is 1 too many imo, get WotB so you can ignore certain cc affixs or just nuke mobs down before they kill you or you could get a defensive ability instead like leap or ignore pain. That should solve most of your problems in act3.
Yeah there can't be any way you have enough fury for two fury spenders without the extra fury gain on bash. Go with Wrath of the Berserker imo. If you are using rend for healing you will double your healing for the duration of Wrath, improving your survivability too. Wrath is just too good to pass up.
I actually used to run WOTB, but swapped it out for rend because of how broken it seems to me
The only time that I find myself even somewhat ragestarved is when I'm facing bosses, which if its a boss that I havent downed yet, then ill swap out rend for WOTB or HOTA for WOTB... I have also been thinking of swapping one of them out with ignore pain ignorance is bliss as well.
I'm strange in that I like the ticking damage of rend with 370k HOTA crits
I bought a decent offhand stat stick and am trying the WW spec after giving it so much hate... while i like it, i die against elite mobs that like to run away.
Yeah the helm of Command is not so useful on a WW barb. But the OP said he used to play a tank style.
What is your Crit chance at? Crit damage is like 300% but your chance looks low. The WW build wants more chance than damage as your Battle Rage - Into the fray procs off crit hits regardless of the amount of damage done.
WW Hurricane means you will be able to catch those ranged guys who run from you and sprinting at the same time helps too.
Your call on WoTB but I find it most use against frozen or imprisoning mobs: WOTB ignores those effects and so you can jsut keep on wihrling around. It is a little OP and so I only use it when i REALLY have to, or I try to string it all together to try and only use it once (got to love WOTB with Thrive on Chaos backed by Sprint with tornadoes and BR/into the fray making everything self-sustaining). It is awesome using WOTB long enough that when it runs out the nromal 2min cooldown has already elapsed!

yeah i just blasted a bunch of gold making myself a tankish build with like 55k dps, but i wanted something that is speedier and can take bigger pulls.
I just see how much easier that WW barbs have it, where as even with my dps and taking barely any damage (though my HP is still low for a tankish build). I need to replace HoC, but I only have a little over a million till all my stuff sells on the AH

I think I need more LOH or maybe vit
