So I am going through Act 2 Inferno and feel that I should be performing better. I am getting my ass handed to me on some elite groups. I was hoping someone could look though my info and tell me what I am missing/lacking/need.
For some reason I wrote down this for stats to do Act 2 on my bard.
10k Armor (which I don't have, I think I have around 7-8k)
25k DMG/DPS
5-700 Resist All (not sure on the exact amount, so I made a 200 window)
30k HP
I got all this minus the 10k, and 6-7k plus HP and do just fine in Act 2 by myself. I wouldn't gauge your gear in a group because you just maybe carrying dead weight.
It seems to me you're lacking a decent about of resist all and short on your dmg/dps (low Str).
You need a lot more on the resist front. I'd say try and push 800-900. That said I would suggest a couple talent changes as well.
With the spec you are running, I'd suggest dropping Seismic Smash for Ignore Pain with the healing buff. In my opinion this is one of the strongest talents when you are wanting to become a bit more tanky and progress. I would also swap out Relentless for Superstition, the 20% reduced elemental damage is really really good. Finally maybe swap out your rune on Frenzy from Manic to Sidearm. I believe the Sidearm proc hits also proc your LoH (which you should maybe try and get a bit more of, 600-800 at least for act 2).
When I was early progressing through Act 2 I ran that spec and could clear it all no problem. Your DPS should be fine without Manic for Belial's enrage.
Block is overrated in my experience, but get those resists up. I run 500 AR in my "speed-clear-act2," set and even then some elites (extra health, fire chain, arcane enchant) force me to really work for the kill.
I'd also suggest dropping seismic slam for ignore pain: ignorance is bliss and relentless for superstition, although the latter is more personal preference: IP is just too good to pass up for revenge builds w/o a lot of LoH. I run zero LoH with this build, progressing through act4:
General approach to gearing: Str, Vit, AR, prioritize getting % life on chest, shoulders, belt, and crit/crit dmg wherever it can be had for cheap (gloves/rings/amulet). Look for a shield with at least some crit and your weapon priority should be crit damage. LoH is very nice to have, but between revenge, ignore pain, leap, and wotb you won't be needing it to make progress. If you're being road-blocked by mobs that are destroying you while frozen, feared, or otherwise crowd controlled: pick up Juggernaut as your last passive and laugh as they heal you to full.
u need about 30%+ block chance to see the significant... get ur resist to 900 to 1k (with warcry), dps abt 20-23k about 8.5k amour and u should get pass act 2 with ease.... except those nasty combo like jailer + frozen on kiting mob (like wasp and etc) that may take sometime to finish them off

Yeah those stats are overkill. I'd also advise against paying attention to block rate and just get a shield with decent crit, stats, and some %life/resists if possible.
I believe I'm at 30k dmg/dps and 35k HP with roughly 4-5RA. I can't get myself to jump on the life on hit bandwagon. Maybe I'll look into it as I get my RA up. I do just fine in Act 2 but man I got handed my face in Act III because my RA came really into play.

Hopefully I helped, good luck!

really? i have 30k dmg/dps and still feel weak at times with my low AR. it makes up for it at times, but those crazy packs still cause problems.
