So I searched but couldnt find if a barbs WW hits more often with incresed attack speed. Anyone know?
It does. It also drains your fury faster the faster your attack speed is. The cost of the skill says 16, but it seems to be 16 fury per attack cycle instead of 16 fury per second. For example, if you use a slow 2hander with 1.0 attack speed, it will do 110% weapon damage per second and drain 16 fury per second. Anything faster than 1.0 will do the 110% damage faster than 1 second and drain more than 16 fury per second. I'm not sure how many attacks whirlwind splits the 110% into, I think it's 2 or 3.
Using animosity as a passive, and the Wind Shear rune (gain 1 fury each enemy struck) for WW, you can maintain a pretty good amount of Fury in large crowds. The only problem is that WW doesn't do much damage.

Yeah for the fury cost, the damage is quite low. It's a shame because the runes are good for the skill. Blood funnel is great life leach if you have enough crit. I think it'd be better with a slow 2-hander but unfortunately I'm dual wielding right now so have yet to try it with a 2-hander.
