My barbarian friends, I greet you.

Running as a wizard, I find myself at a loss when trying to estimate this pretty shield's price :
- armor : 1199
- strength : 125
- dexterity : 99
- vitality : 59
- critical hit chance +9%

Obviously, it's rather good, but just how good is it, and how much would you be willing to pay for it?

Aah, that's an excellent question. See, that's why I had to ask on the barb forum I'll check this out as soon as I get back home.

But generally speaking its lacking any resist all so unless the above block stats are exceptional I'm going to make a guess and say what you have on your hands is not a particularly great shield, though the crit chance is pretty nice.

Is the 1.2k armor common on high level shields? I know that for sorcs, it can be more effective to get +armor instead of +all resists, because of a buff that increases our armor by a percentage.

So, just got back home, the shield has 13% chance to block and absorbs 3700-4700 damage. Average? Good? Poor?

Most barbs are looking for 20% or higher block act I. more towards 40% for act III and on.

It should be good for throw weapon barbs because of the crit.
