well i suppose if you dont like the tree dont play the tree problem solved, i dont know why people are complaining about an aspect of a game if you dont like the aspect dont use the aspect but dont complain that it dissadvantages you. simple really
Why should I not say battlemaster tree suck if I really think that it suck ?
The forums are not made only for tell what you like, but also to tell what you don't.
And things are not that simple for me. I've played diablo for long and I've reached lvl90+ with all characters. I've tryed to use every single skill in many diferent builds. And i will do it again in D3.
Thats why for me every single skill in the game must be good for me or else i complain.
Seismic Slam Shock waves travel forward.Active Skill
Max Rank: 1
Description: Slam the ground causing a wave of destructive fire death. 100% of your weapon damage in front of the Barbarian.
Fury cost: None
That's really tight. I think that's what he used in the gameplay video in the first battle.
I just wanted to inform people that you need to enable Javascript or you will be looking at scattered boxes when you follow the link to the new skill calculator. It doesn't really leave a proper impression.
I believe that I am one of the rare who like/will play battlemaster tree:(
I like it as well...
though it's still really early... I imagine the last tier of spells is what will make or break the skill trees for most people.

In D2, Barbarian had three skill trees, but you could only build your character around one. One tree was strictly passives, one was strictly buffs (battlecries), and the third one was strictly offensive skills and attacks that you use in combat (giving every player pretty much the same choice). That's pretty lame if you ask me. The new barbarian has both passive and distinctive attack skills on all trees. That's three ways to make a 100% distinctive build... Much of an improvement.
It's the beggining of Diablo's end. While I was watching whe skill trees, I didn't know what I am looking at - Diablo or WoW It's imposible Why does Blizzard want to destroy my precious
You were looking at fan-made skill-tree mockups using Warcraft icons as placeholders... The system also works nothing like WoW talent trees so I don't even know what you are indicating.

I Agree with Dimebog (seems to happen a lot). It looks like you could actually choose one tree and make a good character. Much better than wasting points in other trees trying to get a necessary skill. I'd like to see how different these characters would play though.
As for the sockets. Are only some of the skills going to have sockets? It seems to make sense I guess. Some skills would be hard to rationally enhance, like natural resistances.

Only active skills have rune I guess...
And i hope they creat some nice active stuff to the battlemaster =/ Only hammer and charge in a whole tree sounds limited as the other barbarian trees have much more active skills.
So, what do you mean? That's not the oficial skill trees? The won't look like that?!? Oh, thanks for the good news. So it won't surely be WoW 2. There is still hope.
P.S: For the socketed skill, no comment, it could not be so damned stupid made. Is there any logic in that?!?
Yes those graphics are borrowed from WoW/WC3 by whomever made those trees on that fansite. Also, you can only see 4 tiers of skills of about at least 6 how much I believe there will be.
On each tier (each row), the two skills on the left are active and the three on the right are passives. Only active skills can be modified by skill runes judging by the Blizzcon hands-on demo.
Too bad that the old icons are not saved, they were the perfect, maybe with little corrections.
I agree. The old stone were the best.
Some said they changed because the interface will now shows all the binded skills, so keep 6 grey-white icons side by side would be strange.
But they could just apply color to the old icons, like make the stone looking icon a bit orange in fire spells skills, golen in battlecry/auras, etc...
Why cannot it just be as easy like in diablo there is stand "damage 2000-2400" instead och %, it so annoying that you have to calculate every skill to have much damage is does in the end.
Its because ''+x% to dmg'' have a geometric progression with equipament.
This way gear become more important.

and with stats out of the way they prob did it on purpose so each class wont complain about the strength req on some items and will happily use lower def armr if it adds more damg
Hell, I dont see the problem in any of them. I mean, personally the Beserker tree and the Juggernaut tree seem to appeal to me more than the Battlemaster tree, but its still a playable tree.
I can't decide on them yet.. haha. See, what I have envisioned is this Barbarian warrior just dominating monsters all over the screen, and I can see all of the skill trees helping with that.
BattleMaster helps with critical hits, Beserker helps with faster attacking and speed, and Juggernaut looks to be more area of effect.
I think some skills in combination would be awesome. I'll have to go and plan out which skills would go together now..

For those of you who didn't know, I believe you can click "english" and it translates them.
Thank you.

Definitely going to be one of the first characters I play.
