HIT THE WRONG BUTTON AND UPLOADED AN INCOMPLETE... IGNORE FOR NOW HAHA
Hey Guys!! Greetings from cold ass Canada!! (or as we Canadians say it; How's she goin eh?)
Most, if not all of you wont know who I am lol, only because I haven't posted on here before.
Honestly, this is actually my first 'Guide' all together.
Now bare with me, as this is my first guide. I welcome all critisim towards it so I can build on it and make better guides in the future. So thanks in advance for all your nasty/rude comments on how terrible this guide is. =)
For the sake of this guide, I will be incorporating all the advancements of patch 2.4.0 and I will try to keep it updated as the patches roll through. I am
actually writing this guide while I do it myself to incorporate accuracy.
This guide is based only on seasonal leveling from level 1 - 70 and building gear towards T6 farming. I will not go any further with this guide seeing as the season is almost over, and you probably won't have enough time to get to TX farming. Besides with the changes in the seasons, I want to try and keep this guide as fresh and updated as possible. When season 5 rolls out, I will update this guide to get you prepared for TX and GR60+ (Greater Rift; for those who don't know) farming.
So onto not-so-legal, legal stuff.
- Feel free to plagarize/post this guide where ever you please. Lets be honest, I couldn't stop you even if I tried.
- This guide, in its entirety, is my sole property. I have written it myself; whereas myself being NoShirtStan. But once again refer to previous statement.
- That's it. I'm not a lawyer...
So lets move on here.
There will be 6 Sections of this guide.
S.1 Brief Explanation of the Guide
S.2 Explanation of The Barbarian Class
S.3 Lets Begin Leveling
S.4 What to do after level 70
S.5 Help Me, I just installed, and Now I need an Adult (A.K.A FAQ)
So as previously stated this is a guide for leveling a seasonal Barabarian from 1 to 70 as quickly as I can think of. I will be putting in build statuses, item needs and crafting needs. I will also be putting in follower needs as you progress through the levels.
Throughout the guide, since I have a terrible memory I may have you refer to a previous or forward section of the guide just incase I had forgotten something important.
If you dont like my methods, or think you have a better/faster way, then do it your way...
============================= S.2 Class Explanation =============================
The Barbarian, in my opinion is one of the best damage outputers. Yes this is up for debate, but it's my opinion. So yeah...
But back to the class explanation.
Because of the skill range on the barbarian, there are too many skill/set combinations to actually list. Thus making this class a very versatile class. Able to solo high level rifts as well as provide excellent buffs for party play, if that's more your style.
Unfortunately the barbarian lacks the toughness that say a Crusader has, making it a terrible tank. That is of course unless you are using the IK build which allows for high survivability and decent aggro; with the use of certain shouts.
Even without the use of paragon points, the movement capabilities and damage output, I find, out class the Witch Doctor class. Which is known for its speedyness. With that being said, i find it doesn't even come close to the capabilities of the Demon Hunter. But I find you are able to output much more damage than the DH.
Through the PROPER use of Gems and Legendary Gems, you can take this class to a whole new level of beat down.
Because of the high achievable attack speed rating, Legendary Gems can increase your DPS output 10 fold. But with that comes the lack of toughness, making you much easier to kill.
Now, if your playstyle is better suited towards running in, taking a beating, and rekkin mobs, then the Barbarian is for you. If you want to hang back and just spam AOE's, then close this guide, uninstall this game, and go play WoW... I'm kidding. Revert to a Demon Hunter, Wizard, or Range Built Witch Doctor.
If you're just trying this out, as something new, then I encourage you to follow this guide, as it will get you used to the close quarters playstyle of the Barbarian.

S.3 Lets Begin Leveling
=============================
You are going to want to start off in Campaign Mode on Torment I difficulty.
I know controversial, but trust me on this one.
Start heading up the road, and continue with the story until you get to the Slaughtered Calf Inn, where you meet Leah. Before talking to her, head to the entrance of the Inn where this a Lore** object on the table called 'A History of New Tristram'. Gather that for some extra exp.
** Try to gather the lore objects early on as they grant pretty decent exp bonuses **
Next you're going to want to head into the back room, which is Leah's Room, before talking to Leah and grab the lore object called 'Leah's Book'. Yay more bonus exp.
Now go ahead and talk to Leah, and proceed to kill the undead in the Tavern.
Next you'll want to exit the Inn and head to Cains house for another Lore Object. This one is in the back room. Collect for some extra exp. Head outside and continue on with the main quest line, that being the Wretched Mother Quest.
At this time, talk to Captain Rumford and kill the mob that appears on the other side of the cart. After killing this mob you should be at level three.
