So I played HOTA for a while, and that was very smooth. Charge into groups, and then hammer-hammer-hammer-hammer while casting shouts whenever they are up.
I played WW, which was smooth and understandable too. Hold shift, move my mouse around, cast shouts, etc.
Both of these builds basically always have 100% Fury, so I felt like I could keep things up.
Now I'm trying IK6/WW2, and I can't figure out how to do this right. Nothing feels efficient, or smooth, or 'clicks'. I BARELY got through Torment 50, while my HOTA could easily get to 55, because I found myself constantly out of Fury and constantly dying.
If the density isn't 100% perfect, or if I miss a single furious charge, now I'm totally out of Fury. Can't even cast Rend until my shout or charge comes back up. I just E back and forth around groups of mobs, applying rend and then running for my life?
Because I don't have the same kind of LPFS that HOTA does, I feel incredibly squishy. If I get low, or stuck walled in, or held in place, I'm basically !@#$ed. If I charge and don't get an immediate reset, I'm %^-*ed.
Is this right? I feel like I'm stumbling my way through these Grifts now. My boss fight is pathetic, I have 0 fury the whole time, and the whole game doesn't feel smooth.
What can I do? Am I just too dumb to play this build? I'm following Alkaizer's build from his guide video + his level 70 clear on the leaderboards.
p.s. My profile hasn't updated in a day so you are welcome to check out gear but it's not really what I've got equipped now.
@Xarian thanks for the advice but I think we're on different paths? You are suggesting effectively the 6Wastes/2BK build, which is WW for days. I'm playing the IK6/WW2 Rend build that Alkaizer has taken to the top of the ranks.
@Marracus I am using the Boulder Breaker weapon.
My build is basically the same as Alkaizer's, but worse rolls/less ancients/etc. I'm working on it though.
