Im not sure why you'd want just enough for equipment but at level 74 on my paladin i have nothing over 125 strength on yet.
Well I was looking at some of the guides, and they were saying to not put puts into STR past the equipment STR requirement, which was around 125'ish.
So 125 is a good cap daemaro?
My pally is only 23 and already has about 90 STR
Beetle, how much strength depends on your build. Normally though, yes you want just enough for you to wear necessary gear - which completely depends on what type of pally you are. if you're going to be an all-out melee kind of paladin, you want high defense armor, meaning the best defensive runeword in the best armor, which will require tons of strength to you, much more than 125. Just be aware of that.
If you're going to be more of an aura/support/caster kind of paladin, you'll want lighter armor and more cast-and mana based gear, which you would need less than 125 strength.

Well like I said at lvl 74, just entering Hell I have nothing above 125 strength requirement. So I'd say at LEAST 125, most good nightmare/hell gear is around that area I think.
90 strength should be plenty for now though then as you level you can add it accordingly. Or if you want just check out the site and see what you want to wear.

Sorry to be such a bugger, but I just tried shutting down the firewalls, but Hamachi still doesn't let my friend and I connect to each other's games. =[
We can choose the characters and begin loading the game and all that good stuff, but the loading gets stuck at the last 95% and then it says "failed to connect."
Would this be the cause of a faulty character/installation? Or maybe I should update my D2 to a newer patch?
Blah this is such a killjoy =[ Any help would be very much appreciated.
Man, I finally made it all the way and killed Nihlathak in nightmare with my druid. Those Wyverns are tough, and that Volcano guy is incredibly annoying.
I think I made it through by only dieing about 6 times...? lol

Install D2.
Update D2 fully.
Install ES.
Run the game.
I think that's all the steps. Anyway you can do that because the game will downgrade itself to the needed version. (1.10 I think it doesn't matter right now.)
They worked hard to make it able to do this. As long as you both do that it should work. Did you guys update at all?
You need to have the can opener set to 3pts (flawless) to extract a flawed crystal from crystal can.
Place the can opener in cube and transmute until you get that setting, then insert the crystal can and transmute.
I have one can for each type of crystal - you may just have one can for all, if this is the case then you need to choose which crystal you want out by transmuting the can until the crystal desired is listed, then put in the can opener and transmute.

I did a quick search of this thread and couldn't find my problem, so if it has been answered, I'm sorry to repeat it. The Eastern Sun homepage says that it can support up to /players16, but mine only goes to /players8. I'm on a PC, and I downloaded the PC version. I found the file called D2Mod.ini and when I open it, it says Playersxmin = 1 and Playersxmax = 16, but it still only lets me go to 8. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I want to put just enough for the equipment.

@ Killer-Swift : No we're all using PC's. I'm not sure if he's using a vista, but if he is, would that be the problem?
Try maybe using different characters, if that's not it you made need to update or just reinstall fresh, make sure firewalls are off also.
Vista wouldn't be a problem I use vista.
Man if I had to reinstall x[
Or if my pally just simply doesn't work xO
What do you mean by update? Like a D2 patch?

I now have a Ro rune and a Ne rune!
You'd think those two could make a runeword, since they do spellout "Nero". >.>
