I took a bit of a spill yesterday and didn't feel like sitting at my computer desk (I don't like laptops) so I haven't tried it out.

I've got it installed.
The game runs, and it says R6E on the title page, but I have no clue what to look for as far as what changes were included in this "unofficial" patch -- there are no release notes included in the zip file, just a new data folder and new PlugY_user and PlugY_ver files.
I'm sure I could deduce something if I had time to look at all the text files in the data folder, but I don't right now.
Update: (something I missed when I installed DL'd the patch this morning)
Here are the patch comments, as listed on the Community Patches page of the ES Wiki:
- Nightmare Diablo was rebalanced to avoid a roll over in the throne room, this may result in him being harder
- All Damage Augmenters need to be rerolled, this can be done by cubing it
- New Content Will not be added till bugs are fixed
- Ancients Call And the like haven't been changed as they seem balanced as is
- Oak Sage Works Fine -> ((base_life + item_life) * (sage_bonus + item_life_bonus))/100. item_life EXCLUDES life per level(this is a engine bug)
- Sway: Does the synergy also need base points in sway to take affect? -> currently its if(base_level > 0){ AC *= (synergys * 10)/100 }else{0}
- Throw Mastery Works as it should Skill & Display Wise -> Buggy Application of the stat in the D2 Engine?

um zhar its a unofficial one its like someone like us (no offense) started editing the txt files in the data folder (WARNING DONT DO THIS duh)
so its like this a person on my network ended up editing the files and had to reinstall lod several times XD (even then it wasnt fixed)
meh it looks like they removed the dmg augmenter exploit

So is there new content then, on the new patch? I've been reading it, but I didn't see any changes to the map or stuff.
And I've stopped working on my druid (as he has done hell baal now), and have started going through ES with my assassin, its quite fun - killing hoards of monsters in under a second with about 20 hits, lol. And not to mention taking boss characters out in under 5 seconds.
edit: nevermind Rykker, I didn't see the edit on your other post on 104. However, we still gotta wait for the bugs to be fixed before enw content comes out? I remember reading (a LONG time ago) that they were planning in adding in completely new areas to actI and (I think) actIV. In actI they were going to make a dungeon tunnel system (level 88 (aka special, high-level only place) ) from the burial grounds to the jail level or something? I don't know about you guys, but I'd love all new level88 areas.

they need a 100 level dungeon ie devil may cry style (bloody palace) in act 4 XD i wp per 10 floors
lets wait until the modders actually come back because this patch is a unoffical one

Never actually tried back to hellfire, I'm definitely going to download it soon though.
I remember looking at it a while ago, and it seemed quite interesting.

I haven't, but was wondering if anyone here has a high opinion of it or no.
