I'm wonder, how can i find/view images like what is in the "Diablo Wiki" from my own D1 & D2 discs? the only ones i can find are in the support file under the folder named char in my D2 files, but they are a mixer of 12 characters. I've read that there are some hidden things that Blizzard never put into the game but left the data/images on the discs and i would like to see them. any help will be appreciated.

Other than that, there's some other stuff in there as well. Off the top of my head, I can think of some ugly potions and unused item images, jewels that look like they belonged in D1 rather than D2. And Thrall from WC3. True story, though he only has one animation of standing still.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

I would read the Multimedia and tools section. I believe there are some tutorials on the basics and it will show you where the files are located.
