So i haven't played since 1.09, and I am working on making a new barb. Does any one have any build recommendations? Are titan barbs or Vitality barbs best in 1.12??? Links to any good 1.12 barb builds? Thanks
Well, sadly I don't have any links, but I can tell you that Frenzy barbs seem to be the most effective right now.
Basically your typical build involves pumping just enough strength and dex to use your equipment, this usually takes some planning, then drilling the rest into vitality. Ends up with a decent tanky build that can deal out shittons of damage. When you've got 2 ebotd zerker axes (really fucking expensive), you're pretty much unstoppable.
Whirlwind barbs are also still somewhat viable, but not as much as before. They're worth a try though if you want something different.

Ah yeah, last wish + ebotd.
Ebotd is much better, but yeah, you have to shell out an arm and a leg to get one.
Stick with a normal botd if you can get one, eventually upgrade to and eth one.

Pump vit, only put in enough strength to use your equipment.
For a WW barb, you can prett much use the same equipment as a frenzy barb, you just need to adopt a different playing style.
Hell, you could probably get a pretty badass polearm if you felt like it, a meditation would be good for low levels if you don't have much shit, they can do lots of damage, and team members will love you for the meditation aura.
Will also end any mana problems you have, so an insight polearm may actually be a good idea to use while you wait to get your hands on a better weapon.

a set of angelics (being the ring and ammy, for the mad attackrating bonus)
2 hoto for bo (3 skills apice adding 6 additional points into wc's
bo helm that adds 5 to bo and 4 to shout
i have an assortment of sorb gear for various duels be it psn, light, fire, cold
trechery for fade
obv torch and anni
tons of lifer charms... hit me up if any of this sounds good lol
they may have been downgraded a bit but if you made properly they are still mad beastly with crazy life dex block an dmg.... and the nerf was like .08 or .09... it was to even out chars... you still cant hit them while they are in mid ww so... pvp they last forever.
I'm pretty sure every modifier works in PvP, just most of them are so nerfed because of PvP use that they might as well not be there. So, in effect, it's true, but I guess from a more precise angle, kind of not. Does that make sense? :confused:
how about a build that is often quite rare + underestimated: berserker barbarian? this was a build i played b4 i quitted during the first season, and imo it is both pvp + pve effective
all u need is 20 berserk, 20 mastery, 20 battleorder, 20 shout, 20 ironskin, prereq skills, etc etc and u have a barb that deals super imba damage (not as easy but hits as hard as those cheap hammerdins), knowing magic damage cuts through your resistances
berserk does so much damage in that single blow that defence cut is almost not an issue, of course if ur in trouble, add 1 on whirlwind and leech like crazy
sigh i miss my Demon_Hammer versions 1 and 2 in uswest (yes, first build was a failure so i xfered the items, deleted the char and started again, by the time hes lvl 85 i had fun killing necromancers in 1 hit)
