diablo, he personally hit me more than anyone else lol, no jk.... probably Decard Cain (SP?)
i guess its because everything you do involves him. He is with you all the way through the game -.-
I'd agree with Tal Rasha. I want to sympathize with his willingness to be the scapegoat and do the right thing to give everyone more time to think of a way to finish things, but also I sympathize with the fact that he knew he would never, ever be able to come out of that binding as he was. It was over for him.
Lachdanan from d1 was a poor dude too. Same with Farnham, and Leoric. More hopeless/touching stories in D1 than D2, or am I just imagining things... Npc's were more human in D1, right? Oh, maybe that's another factor why it's much scarier than D2.
Anyone who has read The Black Road will tell you that when evil enters sanctuary it sews the seeds of its undoing. I think this rings true with the tale of Khalim. If not for his utter devotion to the light he would have been corrupted and the compelling orb would never have been destroyed.
The most touching character is the Amazon, because when I think about her, I touch myself.
On a much more serious note..I'm leaning towards Anya and Akara..I'd like to see them in D3, as a matter of fact. Discover more about the sisterhood and all that.
Duriel - "Your too late hahahaha" or "Looking for me hahahahaha".
Mephisto said that first quote. And the second quote is a misquote. He said, "Looking for Baal?"
And I'm with Zhar (the user). I also thought Lachdanan's character was a touching one. His story is genuinely sad, as is that of King Leoric. And his voice is so human that it's sort of gut wrenching. And then in the end, though you save his soul, you still wondered if it got out of hell safely.
1.Tal Rasha
2. The Warrior from D1 (If you forget how stupid he was)
3. Deckard Cain
4. Tyrael
5. Your character in D2
6. That Barb in D3, who is actually the Barb from D2
7. The townsfolk of Tristram
8. All the townsfolk who gave a damn in D2
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions

Fuck you, I'm a dragon.

He used to charge you gold just to take a peek at his wares. Badass.
I cried a little when I found his corpse for the first time in D2, and then laughed when his leg came flying out.
I might go with that dude that you see outside of the church in Diablo 1. You know, the one who tells you about the Butcher.
