Been a Diablofan for ages now, wasn't quite active until now sine I didn't have beta, and didn't want to talk above my knowledge.
But after writing a few posts and trying to participate I've noticed that its really hard to keep up with relevant posts since people sometimes reply with multi quotes which take an entire page, thus adding pages very fast to a topic, and sometimes making people not even wanting to start reading it since they cba bothering with reading so much, when its actually quite little.
I'm not sure what can be done in order to make the forum posts more accessible, maybe putting a button (like the spoiler protector a lot of forums have) that will fill in an entire quote, so that only if clicked you can read the quote, thus saving space in the thread and its easier to browse through.
In addition, for people to follow, when you are quoted, maybe you can get notified on a message, some sort of a tagging system (for example a @Malkishua, just on the top of my head), then I can know if I want to go back and read or just leave it at that.
Some forums only quote the last person by default, so you never get a quote within a quote within a quote. That would solve a bit already, since you generally only want to quote the last person anyways, not all his embedded quotes. Other than that... quote sensibly people.
I think it would be rather annoying to have to click on each quotation to show it, especially in posts using a lot of quotations. I could see this working for nested ones, though.

Take this post for example:

More ideas or thoughts on this matter?
... so I'll move the topic.
