If you're being serious - Infraction Points are a bad thing, not a good thing. They act as a way for mods / admins to know how many times you're broken the rules before and thereby choose an appropriate punishment.
If you're being sarcastic (which I really do hope you're not) - Go to hell.
Correction: They are supposed to be a way for admin and moderators to know how many times you have broken a rule. In reality they are a way to punish you for not thinking there way. It is then used by good honest moderator/admin and you are then punished because said good honest moderator/admin believes you have broken the rules more times then you really have.
But yea, human falicy, can't blame the person for a poorly designed system.
Link, that's not true and you know it. It's comments like that that earn you a bad reputation among the staff. Essentially, you bring it on yourself.
What about my reputation? Over the last few months, I've been getting the feeling you guys hate me too.

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
? what kind of replies are these? I just don't get the point of this thread. Seriously... when you get infraction points it's a bad thing end of discussion. We're not in GTA 4, you're not rewarded for bad behavior :P.
I got three infraction points and only one of them was for actually breaking a rule. The other two are just because a moderator or two happened to have a bad day and I was conveniently refusing to kiss their ass. I got an infraction for a post that is listed as: Private.

Dude... you're exaggerating, for dramatic-effect, which is why I edited your off-topic post on this subject, in an unrelated thread, last week.
You've had two measly posts deleted, and that was almost two months ago.
And that was only because you were pissed-off at Blizzard for "ruining your game," and you were throwing a temper-tantrum.

I'm not being dramatic...
And besides, the outdoor environment looks like diarrhea with moss growing on it. I know that it's Blizzards game, but it for a sequel to one of my favorite games, it doesn't look that great.

You're making it sound like we've been knocking you down every time you've made a sound, recently, and the only instances in which that has happened to you are weeks-old, fairly isolated occurrences (two posts over a two-day period), which were justified deletions given the content and intent of your outbursts (you're entitled to your opinion, but you went overboard).
I really only rely on the infraction system due to times of high traffic. But when things slow down like they have lately, I'll just either ban someone or I won't. Usually won't. But you never know....

Riiiiight.
Wrong. Your three Infractions are listed as the following...
Flaming and trolling, Offtopic, and Insulted Other Member(s)
Don't try to lie to me. I'm an Admin and I can see all.
Yeah, I got one for Trolling a while back, and admittedly, I deserved it, lol. I slide by with a lot of things I know I shouldn't, although I try to go back and edit or delete those after my immature spasm is over. But my Infraction says "Expired"- can everyone that views my profile now still see that I had one at one point, although it's expired?
Totally different questions and, therefore, they deserve totally different answers.
Q: Is it a big deal to get an infraction point?
A: Yes and no. Yes in the sense that it means a Moderator or Administrator believes you have broken a rule. No in the sense that you need many before you will receive an automatic ban. Remember, they're mostly used as a method of keeping track of a user's previous incursions on the rules. Of course, you don't need any infraction points to be banned (assuming you break one of the immediately bannable rules).
Q: How easily can you get an infraction point?
A: It's as easy as breaking a rule.

I don't get it, is there some kind of point system on this site? I keep getting rewarded for being a bag of hugs.
I really don't understand the question, but shouldn't this be under "Questions and Suggestions"?
If you're being sarcastic (which I really do hope you're not) - Go to hell.
PS: Moved to suggestions and questions.

I still don't get the points though, were you guys trying to create a ranking thing to keep people around so they'd contribute for entitlement?
And if not is there a duality between Infractions and those reputation points?
Riiiiight.

But anway, I got a question to you moderators and admins. Is it a "big deal' to get an infraction point? By that I mean, how easily can you get it?
