First off, I'd like to say that I'm not a grammar Nazi, nor am I angered by or deterred from visiting this site by the quality of its writing. I can say, however, that it would have a much more mature atmosphere if a few minor tweaks were made, and since those tweaks would involve text only, they shouldn't require that much work. Specifically, I believe the following actions would help this site a lot:
Replace all instances of "Diablo 3" with "Diablo III": "Diablo 3" just seems like a shortcut that takes out two characters, especially now that the official title has been announced. If the true name of the Diablo game the site primarily concerns is provided, it would communicate more attention to detail by the site's staff, and make it an even more popular resource for news regarding the series.
Fix Forum Titles and Descriptions: The descriptions of each of the forums seems to fluctuate between imperative and descriptive, and seem inconsistent overall. A few minor tweaks could remedy this, as shown below:
News & Announcements (x Viewing)
All the news that we feel you should know will be posted here. You may also post a news thread as well. Note that your news post will not show up until it is approved by our staff!
changed to:
News & Announcements (x Viewing)
All the news that we feel you should know and all the news you would like to share will be posted here. Note that your news post will not be posted until it is approved by our staff.
The little sentence in the middle seemed irregular, considering the one before it. The exclamation point and italics seemed to overdo it; simply stating it plainly, in bold and with a period could do wonders in getting the intended message across. "Be posted" seems like a much more mature choice of words than "show up".
Introduction Forum (x Viewing)
All new members, introduce yourself in this forum
changed to:
Introduction Forum (x Viewing)
All new members, introduce yourself in this forum.
Simple things like adding a period at the end can do wonders when trying to convey professionalism and intelligence.
Diablo 3 (x Viewing)
For discussions about Blizzard's upcoming game Diablo III
changed to:
Diablo III (x Viewing)
All discussions concerning Blizzard's upcoming title, Diablo III.
The "for" seems like a caveman way of starting a sentence, which is why it's been replaced totally for the rest of this suggestion. Starting the sentence with "all" conveys the message much more strongly, "concerning" conveys more intelligence than "about", and there was most certainly a comma missing.
Diablo 2 & LoD (x Viewing)
For discussions on Diablo II and it's expansion Lord of Destruction
This was one of the more problematic forum-descriptions. After reading the old version, a neutral party would likely think that this section of the site was created by very young and/or uneducated individuals, and hence be subconsciously discouraged from posting. In addition to some of the problems pointed out in previous entries, a Roman numeral was replaced with an Arabic numeral, an abbreviation was used, and a pronoun was given an apostrophe in its possessive form.
Diablo & Hellfire (x Viewing)
For discussions about Diablo and it's expansion, Hellfire
changed to:
Diablo & Diablo: Hellfire (x Viewing)
All discussions concerning Diablo and its third-party expansion, Hellfire.
In addition to other mistakes pointed out earlier, I think it would be helpful to make it clear that Hellfire was made by a third-party company, and hence has yet to be confirmed as cannon. Someone not familiar with this fact might think that they also have to purchase an expansion that is now difficult to find in order to play the entire official Diablo series.
Diablo General Discussion (x Viewing)
For discussions about the Diablo series not fitting in any other catergory
changed to:
Diablo General Discussion (x Viewing)
All discussions concerning the Diablo series not fitting in any other category.
"Category" was misspelled, in addition to the other mistakes.
Fan Art (x Viewing)
For Fan Art of the Diablo series. Any other art should go in the General Art section
The other titles also make it clear that the forum pertains to the Diablo series, and "lore" and "storyline" are not proper nouns. Adding "Discussion" at the end makes it linguistically clear that, once I click on the link, the threads I see are going to be discussions of Diablo's lore and storyline, not Diablo's lore and storyline itself.
Diablo Polls (x Viewing)
For all polls related to the Diablo Series. Note that your poll will not show up until it is approved by our staff!
changed to:
Diablo Polls (x Viewing)
All polls related to the Diablo series are to be posted here. Note that your poll will not be posted until it is approved by our staff.
General Discussion (x Viewing)
For discussions that don't really fit in any other sections but still have a point
changed to:
General Discussion (x Viewing)
For constructive discussions not fitting within any other forums.
General Polls (x Viewing)
For all polls not related to the Diablo Series. Note that your poll will not show up until it is approved by our staff!
changed to:

All polls not related to the Diablo Series are to be posted here. Note that your poll will be posted up until it is approved by our staff.
SICK Clan Forum (x Viewing)
Home of SICK, the Silver Inferno Crusading Knights.
"Silver Inferno Crusading Knights" by itself seems incredibly out of place when all other descriptions are in complete sentences. Also, the SICK Clan is given one forum, not multiple forums. The "(x Viewing)" field seems to be missing, and unless these forums are of exception, it should be there.
Travincal
Where the resident's of the temple city of Travincal live, and vistors come.
changed to:
Travincal (x Viewing)
Where the residents of the temple-city of Travincal live and vistors gaze in awe.
This should be moved up above "Roleplaying", since it apparently also pertains to a clan. The "(x Viewing)" field is also missing, and "residents" is not posessive at all.
DiabloFans.com Roleplaying (x Viewing)
Our forum for roleplaying within DiabloFans.com's storyline of events.
Without the "DiabloFans.com", this forum is not specific to any group, and hence should not be in the Guilds and Clubs section. It seems to be exclusive to Elfen Lied's "D3.com" group of roleplaying threads, so this title and description would make sense.
I believe the aforementioned forums should be merged into General Discussion. They seem to exist only to extend the number of forums, and are relatively unpopular by themselves. Merging them into General Discussion will still allow them to be discussed while reducing layout and making the forums in general pertain more to the Diablo series. Right now, only twelve out of twenty-one do.
Again, I would like to reiterate that I am not complaining. I am not angry or distressed at the grammar of the forums; I just feel that if it were improved, newer users with greater levels of maturity may be attained while existing users get the impression of a professionally-designed and superior site. Please don't take any part of this thread as an insult; it only serves as a document of analysis and suggestion.
I took the liberty of coping it to the main suggestions thread. It seems to be viewd more that seperate threads. Just something I noticed.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
