You guys who don't understand that this is a BUFF are simply idiots, for whom probability is "dark magic".
Less mats, less legs, and you say it's a buff? LEL
Less mats true, but less legs? not sure about that, last night i got minimum 2 legendaries per 500 shards and a maximum of 5 legendaries per 500 blood shards.
RNG is RNG.
roughly same mats (rift guardians now drop more mats) and more legendary, leg drop rate have been increased with the price accordingly (x5) and then increased by 33% more, now reaching 10% chance per click. Read blue posts, stop whinning, God.
You're getting 1-4 Veiled Crystals per Rift Guardian, that is NOT compensation for the increased blood shards price.
Last night I completed roughly 40 rifts (@T6) and that is roughly 4000 blood shards. (8 x 500)
So on 500 blood shards you'd normally get 80-90 veiled crystals (assuming you buy something that cost 5 Blood Shards)
With 4000 blood shards that would normally be about 640-720 Veiled Crystals from kadala alone.(NOT counting everything you loot during a rift)
During these 40 rifts and ~4000 blood shards, i have gotten MAYBE 400-500 veiled crystals, and that is INCLUDING all yellow i looted DURING the rift AND the "buffed" mats from Rift Guardian, and i pick EVERYTHING.
Not to mention the said that they'd buff the amount of crafting mats dropping from the Rift Guardian.
On an average today, i got 3-4 veiled crystals per Rift Guardian.
And on top of that i'm already low on veiled crystals because chest and legs costs 40-50 crystals per re-roll >.<
I have spent around ~4000(gloves) shards now, and not gotten one legendary yet. It seems to me either I am having really have luck or they didn't change the chance. I know it's RNG but really, there is not much other point in running rifts for shards now when the rift itself on T6 drops oodles of legendaries.
I got 7 legendary gloves in 500 shards yesterday. RNG is RNG.
It's a nerf because new players can't equip themselves with the yellows from Kadala, not as fast as before. The Leg you get is in the same amount I guess... But sometimes may be frustrating also for a new player having to do Rifts lower than Torment I because he couldn't find enough good yellows and grabing 40~ shards hoping for a good item in 1 roll.
Last night i got 0 legs from almost 2k Shards, before "buff" i always got minimum 3 legs. Yea, buff my ass.
And for the love of god, stop explaining nerf as a buff beceause RNG, it's just silly and brainless.
What's brainless is you calling it a nerf off of your own personal RNG. The statistics behind it are very clear, and Blizzard left nothing to speculate on - it is a buff to # of legendaries gained per blood shard spent.

The legendaries you get are *not* the same amount. It's been mentioned in this thread already, the drop rates were multiplied by 5 in proportion to the cost increase, and then ANOTHER 33% increase was tacked on. You will get more on average. And the time that you actually need yellows with the state the game is in now is so short - I can't really see this as a problem. You'll be fully equipped in legendaries in very short order - they may not be the best ones, or the ones with the great legendary bonus effects, but they'll probably be better than rares.
Those saying you spent thousands and got nothing after the change, you are either lying, and really, what's the point? Or, you are again having absurdly bad RNG, and eventually it will average out to still getting more legendaries than before the change.
RNG is RNG.
