It's the copy of my battlenet's post, just want more ppl to pay attention to this thread, ty.
Ok im so frustrated, cause of this unbalanced trials and legendary gems improve system.
First of all, most of us who managed to complete grs like 37+, every time must repeat the way from gr like 34-36 to one they needed. And its so much wasting of our time, especially if u cant pass one of it, cause of the low mob density, bugs (if urshi dont spawn) or simple mistake.
Guys who have any friends, who can boost them to get high tier gr keystones, can farm gr they needed as simple as normal rifts. But most of the people have no friends with decent gear, or have not much friends cause they are playing most of the time solo after hard day at their work. And for every class except dh, mb pull monks, finding party that farming gr keystones 38+ becoming rly hard. Nobody need useless classes with dots or other crowd control !@#$ at their party.
And another subject that i want to describe is legendary gems improve system. Watch the top players of the solo leaderboards in every class. Watch their gems. Level 40 - 45+. And how they could improve them solo?
And in view of the aforesaid, we must compete with guys who always have couple of dhs on hand. Who improving their gems playing 4ppl grs 45+. And why the hell after that the leaderboard CALLED SOLO? What they are doing solo? Now im level 131 wiz with my personal best 38 gr, but i dont know how go higher if can only make 3-5 attempts at level 38-39 gr per day. How to compete if they can get 40+ keystones and make as much attempts as they want.
Im rly, rly dissapointed, i returned in this game only cause of the ladder system, but anyway this game is too much multiplayer oriented like wow and other mmos, where u cant get any cool stuff alone. And most painful are the words SOLO LEADERBOARDS. I will w8 couple weeks for any patches or hotfixex of trials system, but if they'll not pay attention to this problem, i'll left the game. There is no sense for me to play this game just for fun.
It's really difficult to understand your complaint since I'm guessing English isn't your native language, but I'll try to respond to it.
I'm not a very hardcore player, I'm not a very efficient player, and I have a gem that's level 40 and if I really wanted to I could have my other two gems around that level this week as well. However if they're running group rifts and leveling their gems I'm not sure how that impacts the validity of their spot on the solo leaderboards? What they're doing solo is a Greater Rift, whether they had help with the prep work for that greater rift or not is irrelevant.
This first season is really a test season, they're experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't and you can expect some pretty interesting changes for subsequent seasons. The game does indeed have a multiplayer focus, this is true, this is also no secret and it's been stated by the blues. However you can do things as a solo player, just somewhat less efficiently. I'm mostly a solo player and I do quite well in D3. It's just a matter of using your time well and getting a little bit lucky.
I can't see your post going over well on the official forums with your attitude of "If you don't fix what I perceive to be a problem even though you've created this intentionally I will leave your game!" btw.
You're only level 131 and you complain that you can't reach higher than a 38 Grift? Holy fucking shit you must have had so much loot thrown at you. I would not go outside, ever, because your luck HAS been used. Probably gonna get run over by a car or something.
All that said, there's different ways to play the game. They clear the rifts solo - they did not use their friends to clear the rift they get ranked for. If they abuse their friends to gain more attempts and you don't, that is your issue; I mean, nothing stops you from gearing up a mara DH or palm monk yourself and just farming a ton of keystones and using on your wizard. I have a mara DH and a wiz myself on live for that exact purpose.
As for gem levelling, you still have the ability to upgrade your gems. I mean, with a grift 38, you can get your gems to around 40-41 pretty "easily", all things concidered (I'd say 3x rolls at 10% per is a decent chance to upgrade an end game item when the activity is only clocking in at about 15-20 min to do). Sure, if you group up you can get slightly higher gems, but then again... If you're a wizard, your gems aren't going to be the difference between another level or not, as only Zei's really affects your firebird dot,. the other two are hardly improving it (assuming toxin + powerful).
So really, quit your whining - yes, some of us prefer to play solo. That means we forego the benefits of abusing other people to gear up. And it means we'll progress slower in some cases. On the other hand, I avoid dealing with people, can hit escape and tab out to read or take a break for a minute whenever I want, have a conversation going with my friends while doing a rift, etc...
I mean, what'll the next issue be? People level faster in groups so it's unfair they have higher paragon levels? 2 man teams complaining their gem levels are lower than 3 man teams because they are a few rift levels behind because of class synergies? I mean, really?
But let's hear it: What is your proposition to solve these issues? Rather than rant on about how shit it is, be constructive. Give us some examples of how you could better maintain integrity. I'd love to hear it.
Last but not least:
span>There is no sense for me to play this game just for fun.
It's a fucking game. You're ment to be playing it because it's fun. If you only play it to be competitive on ladders, then there's probably more than one reason it's a good thing that you're quitting the game.
1. "It's the copy of my battlenet's post, just want more ppl to pay attention to this thread, ty." Link to battle.net thread? I'm suspicious of people who say this without providing a link. Chances are the thread was closed by a mod.
2. "First of all, most of us who managed to complete grs like 37+, every time must repeat the way from gr like 34-36 to one they needed. " I agree that something needs to be improved to tie character progression together. My thought is that the trial rift really should be a one time thing until a character completes a grift. Then the level that they can't complete should be where they always start when they spawn a new grift. However, you should be able to entry the trial again if you want to "reset" your beginning grift level. Overall, I don't think this a major problem, as it only takes 10 minutes to get back to your Grift level anyways.
3. "Guys who have any friends, who can boost them to get high tier gr keystones..." Yes, that's just a benefit of being social in the game, but not exclusive to group play if you have high solo skills.
4. "And another subject that i want to describe is legendary gems improve system. Watch the top players of the solo leaderboards in every class. Watch their gems. Level 40 - 45+. And how they could improve them solo?" The gems have a small chance for upgrade to a certain point. They either got lucky or used a group to hit a higher tier to upgrade. If they used a group, I don't care because that is another benefit of being social in game.
5. " And why the hell after that the leaderboard CALLED SOLO? What they are doing solo? " They are on the leaderboard because they can take a down a rift with no other players in the group. That can still be hard to do even with upgraded "group" gems at higher rift tiers.
6. "...this game is too much multiplayer oriented like wow and other mmos, where u cant get any cool stuff alone." Sorry, but I call total BS on this one. I play 99% solo (truly solo) and I can get a lot out of this game. I actually prefer the challenge of playing solo to that of group play.
7. "I will w8 couple weeks for any patches or hotfixex of trials system, but if they'll not pay attention to this problem, i'll left the game. There is no sense for me to play this game just for fun." Isn't the whole point of playing a game to do it for fun? If it isn't fun, then walk on out the door and find something else. I'm sick of people threatening to leave because they don't like a feature of the game. Less entitled people puts a lower load on the servers. Don't let the door hit ya' where the good lord split ya'!
span>But let's hear it: What is your proposition to solve these issues? Rather than rant on about how shit it is, be constructive. Give us some examples of how you could better maintain integrity. I'd love to hear it.
His proposition is probably something along the lines with: Solo-keystones and Group-keystones which is retarded.
That's only half of his complaint though, he also seems genuinely peeved that some people can get 3-4 levels more on their gems than him because of playing in optimised 4 man groups that can reach higher levels. I mean, jesus fuck, 1% more damage on his zei's, 4 seconds more on his bane buff and 200% wep dmg more over 10 seconds - absolute fucking killer.
Oh wait, never mind, I found a skeleton rift and a conduit near the boss, it's all good bois, fuck your gems.
I agree that something needs to be improved to tie character progression together. My thought is that the trial rift really should be a one time thing until a character completes a grift. Then the level that they can't complete should be where they always start when they spawn a new grift. However, you should be able to entry the trial again if you want to "reset" your beginning grift level. Much easier solution: Clear trial rift. Trial rift deems you at level 32 rift. Make spectral guy of rifts have a vendoring option with keys from level 1-32 unlocked that you can exchange for trial keys. If you want to unlock higher than 32, put the unused rift key into the obelisk and try again. If you fail and only reach 30, no worries, still managed to get 32 so can buy new ones at that. Reach 34, and you unlock 33 and 34 to be bought in bulk from him. It takes away the god awful 2-3 minutes per trial key spent fighting waves of monsters and somewhat the RNG of getting easy waves (lol zombies, lol berserkers etc) or "I'm gonna fucking rape your ass"-waves (fucking phantasms that turns into lightning and just PEWPEWPEWPEW's you down from ranged). Sure, you could still encounter them, but you only have to get lucky once to permanently unlock say, lvl 35 rifts, rather than get one lvl 35 rift every 10 attempts cos of wave RNG.
span>You've stated that you're Paragon 131 with a wizard...and are struggling past GR38+?
My rank at solo wiz leaderboard is 131.
And the main idea of this post was to show that if u want to compete with top players u need to play more multiplayer game than solo. And its nothing about solo skills of anybody, its about trials and gem system that pushes u to search for party, clan etc. cause u cant do simple things solo.
And im very glad if all of u who posted here, have many friends with decent gear to farm 40+ keystones. But if u playing grs level < 30, the problem that i explained here is nothing for u. And its cool when all classes must have reserve marauder's dh to pass the trials.
I didn't expect other reaction to my thread, play for fun guys, just play for fun....
Go ahead and wait bro, and while you are waiting, pick up a English dictionary of some sort, because its really hard to follow your thread, its awful. There will be NO patch NOR hotfix to "Trials", there's nothing wrong with it, stop crying you big baby.
People are high in leaderboards not because they "abuse" the right to have friends to help them out or because they have high lvl gems but because they invest serious time manipulating the flaws of both the trial system and the gr difficulty. If you think its balanced fighting 30b hp mobs or dont know the number skipping the half map and pray for a good rift /pylon then having 100 40+ stones wont solve your problem.I did it with stampede reached rguardian 39 with 5' remaining I felt violated didn't like it make a seasonal.
I think that single player leader boards should only include people that never played in a multi player game... I played all season by myself, and I'm pretty sure I missed out a good chunk of experience from groups, maybe some free items shared with the group... oh, and I play hardcore, but I'm nowhere close to getting into any of the leader-boards.
Maybe they can add an option on character create "single player", which will prevent you from joining multi player games. I know thats not how Blizzard wants the game to be played, but I dont see the point of single player leader boards if all it takes is your group char to play alone for an hour.
Think people should keep in mind that diablo 3 is listed and marketed as a multi player game.
If you wanna play solo that your choice but if you lose benefits doing that, its because the game isnt ment to be played solo - it just has the capacity to be played solo.
Also if someone can complete a greater rift on X diffculty solo, they should be able to get keystone themselves if they wanted as trial is far easier.
I just want to say that I have never once farmed for a rift key in a group and I have never even completed a single greater rift in a group. I also do not have a DH with 5 piece marauders to farm higher greater rift keys. I strictly play wizard and nothing else. I have done it all solo aside from normal rift runs in groups. You can add me as a friend and check my account if you'd like.
I am currently in the top 80 of the wizard solo leaderboard (Americas) and I have three gems at or above 40 (powerful, toxin, and zei). My highest greater rift completed is 39, and the one attempt I had at level 40 was really close. I at least got to the rift guardian before the timer ran out. (I can't seem to find a Fire SOJ which is really making me angry at this point considering I have found 7 to date, as I think this would push me to the next level).
I average starting out at about 31-33 when I do a trial rift, which is really annoying considering I can do level 37 without fail at this point. Sometimes I even get a level 28 keystone when I actually thought I did pretty damn well, which is really perplexing at times. Somehow even if I complete more waves I still get a drastically lower level...
The one suggestion I like is letting us choose a greater rift level if we've already completed it prior. I wouldn't even mind if this option cost FIVE greater rift trial keys instead of one, I'd still love it.

This is not true. The trials is not a reflection of greater rifts and rewards a certain style of game play and gear. While I feel the OP is moaning like the rest of you, it is not fair to judge his experience over your own. His definition of solo play is for it to be complete "solo" which is fair.
Blizzard should change the trial system, it is not really an enjoyable system.
i managed to get my gems to rank 40 solo, only to get them to 45+ did i go play in groups, but t6 and anything was already more beneficial if done in a party so i don't really see a problem with solo, maybe if the multiplayer trial could not be used solo would be fairer...

I wonder why is anyone angry while looking those leaderboards and can not get near to that? I mean those should be called Lucky boards, not leader boards, because you do need luck to have a good grift, good maps, good mobs, I personally have wizz, wd and dh with thee same setup and even better gear than some, and I am paragon 630+ so I am not a newbie and I do know the game, but I did not even finish 36 solo, why ? I did not want to waste my time and nerves while waiting to get good grift, oh I did get good ones, except that were 31-34, melting... whenever I play 36+ I get act5 mobs or I chase to find some mobs to kill so why bother ? Let people who can invest that much time (no-lifers ?) enjoy their e-peeps I play this game with friends for fun, we do not care about stupid lucky boards
Since all comments in the past few days just led to personal attacks and people receiving infractions, I'll lock this thread. If you want to discuss issues with the game refrain from take it to a personal level, thanks.
