First of all:

So as the title says I wonder if there is a way to see the highest crit you dealt with specific chars.
There are of course ways to look up calculations between Chc and Chd to tell how high the average crit might be but this is not enough for me.
As many of you might have noticed, it may be quite difficult to watch for it yourself - especially when you're a member of a group in the middle of a great massacre of meteors, blizzards, Monks - flying around and last but not least: dead mobs with the intention of goin everywhere but where you expect them to.
Glad about every answer on this and people: if there already is a thread, discussing this sort of theme please be so kind - let me know and give me the link
Thx to all who took time to read!

Isn't one that I'm aware of. Would be neat to have a statistics pane similar to WoW's, though I imagine achievement counters would cover a number of those bases (though clearly, not this one).
Going by crit numbers doenst tell you how much real damage you're putting out. If you want high crit numbers all you have to do is use a big slow 2 hander, and stack crit damage. It's a very flawed gauge of damage output.
Real quick math there. Otherwise just assume your Damage value on character sheet is correct, because it pretty much is. I've turned off all numbers on my game because they're just a meaningless distraction.
But to be honest:
I'm not sure if I made this clear enough though... I'm not interested in "just seing high crit numbers" playing with the sever doesn't amuse me... I want to know what my REAL highest crit was~
The sever just shows high numbers but they aren't actually the real ammound of dmg dealt there...

He's talking the highest crit his character has ever made, people. Not trying to judge his damage output by his single highest crit, what on earth would make you think anyone would try and do that? It's simply a record, a "high score".

And what about when you're buffed by harrington's, or DH wolf howl, or big bad voodoo with the damage rune, or etc. etc. etc. And not everyone plays for the same reason you do - some people like seeing those big numbers.

I just don;t find the numbers gratifying. And compensating for buffs is easy, plug and chug.
We need statistic table's at the end of greater rift runs. Multiple results giving us, damage done, elite damage done, damage generated from +% given to team mates and buffs given to the team, etc, etc.
Then on top of that you could get personal statistic results, telling you your average amount of critical hits, your highest critical hit, etc. It could even give you some estimated calculation on what extra stat would help you complete it quicker. I don't know!
All of it can easily be ignored though, if you and some mates just want to jump in and kill some demons, this kind of feature should be able to be turned off and on, game play options! Elusive mode. etc.
Give this man a cookie!
Zehkari, thank you for getting the point and kind of having great idea I really agree with.
Something like a stat table at the end of the rift, comparing to all time played, with specific chars etc. etc. would be really awesome!
So do you know if any progress has been made on this topic?
If so, pls let me know
If there was an in-game record stat for crit it would just show a number from a crit during Power or Conduit pylon so what's the point
I agree with you in one way. It would if we look at it the easy way.
But there comes in the idea of a static table~
Being able to see what kind of dmg multipliers were the reason to get this crit and stuff~
I'm not willing to tell that this is a feature wich is needed to go on playing D3 or I quit
But I just thought it would be a nice extra ^^

This is exactly what I tried to tell...
I feel so stupid for not getting the word "recorder"..... damn..
Well then. Guess I have to bend time now!
Always take the most possible way first
Thank you and have fun smashing mobs and gambling gear!
