I started playing a Wizard but then I've realized that I already have a full geared Wizard on normal and there is just no point in this world to do this once again. So I have just made a Barb (didn't play Barb and WD) and it is ok now
So really the problem here is the lack of an endgame, you just don't know how to express yourself properly
No one in their right mind wants to play THE SAME SHIT for the XXX'th time for a CHANCE at some new ("better" lol debatable) legendaries, especially when all the crap I get is the crap I already have....and oh look, another epic 2h fucking hammer for my season DH, that never gets old, especially since I've been through this countless times before
The real problem is that people expect "endgame" from an hack'n'slash game just because it was released by the same company which owns the current king of MMO's. You can't expect a constantly updated endgame from a game which isn't subscription based and doesn't have any kind of microtransaction system to constantly bring in money...
We're not asking for constant endgame updates friend. THERE WAS NEVER ONE TO BEGIN WITH, WHICH HAS BEEN A STANDING ISSUE SINCE RELEASE.
Maybe that's how Diablo works, maybe that's how all hack'n'slashes work, but obviously none of us here are happy with it. You're deluding yourself by playing the same shit ALL OVER AGAIN for a shitty reward (ie new half assed legs, one piece of tier lmao) and accepting the millionth rehashed playthrough as new content instead of wanting a real endgame?
Having fun with seasons, so i'm still playing. The only thing i'm hating again is the useless normal bounties until i get a RoRG. Starting a new char from time to time is fun, gearing the char is fun, having to complete a1 bounties for just 1 drop is not fun for me.

I never got why ppl insist in doing those bounties on normal. I mean when you reach the point that you almost 1hit everything T1 do it T1, for the few seconds you win on full bounties clear its better worth it doing it T1...
What is really annoying is the fact that this item is definitely OP (opens a ton of build) and that you can only get it by playing A1... that is ridiculous.
Hmmm... I think the difference from cashes is only from T2 onwards.
There was a guy who tested like 50 caches and got more loot from normal that t1 ... rng is rng but still. Do not know exactly what is the brakingpoints of bounty caches, but this is what I seen/heard/read. Even if the difference is only from T2 (which starts to be harder to 1 hit) its still worth it to do T1, be it only for the torment-only possible drops of "kill x elite" bounties. I mean at some point its a question of seconds (less than a minute) for the whole 5 bounties.
And my highest geared character was only able to solo T4 (acceptable pace) and was 1hitting T1 or almost 1 hit...
Imagine all the possible torment only drops you misses from doing dozen of those run in normal, again, for a few seconds.
I was loving seasons and really the only reason I'll continue playing them is my Sader in seasons after playing over the weekend is now better geared and has more gold than my Non-seasonal Sader that I'd been playing since RoS launched. Took me months to even get two pieces of Akkhan on my non-season sader and I got 4 pieces on the first day with my Seasonal one. So at this point why not play the better geared character.
I see that a lot of people have concerns but I'm just going to post how I've been enjoying the game. For me the seasons have been mainly about trying different builds out.
Now I know for most people they don't think about leveling a new character as a reason to try a new build, for myself it is how I get to know the class. My first Crusader is actually a bit malleable when it comes to his skills, just focusing on what is best with his gear and ended up using a build radically different then what I had wanted to play when I originally made him. Now with my Season Crusader I'm sticking to a build and getting to know the ins and outs of how it works while leveling her up. Because its brand new sheet I don't have to change everything to a new build and then change it back if it doesn't work. I get to just work with an entirely different goal and find what skills and like which helps it feel new to me.
I get that for most people there is this push for more stuff and I think there are some interesting ideas but as someone who gets maybe an hour to play a day at best, that this is a very good patch.
The only quarrel I have with seasons is the gear will be rotated into non-season as drops. Would be cool if it were season-only that you could earn and transition into normal. Unique gear that you wouldn't see again. I know that raises issues on the other end. But that would be the only incentive for me. As someone that likes to rotate around and share the love on most of the classes.
Other than that, I heard they may use seasons as sort of testing grounds. So have a season with no Crit Damage on gear etc. Could be interesting as well. ofc they'd need to compensate else where but would be cool.

tl;dr same shit new day, blizz just wants $$$$
The standing issue since release is that people expect endgame from Diablo III like it was something like a goddamn MMO. It's not an MMO, so there is no endgame.
I do not want an endgame. I want a reason to play this game, this isn't the same. Providing a fresh start with leaderboards and a bit of new items is enough incentive for me to play this. Perhaps for you it isn't, idk. Also, stop expecting a revolution - even if they add "new content" then that "new content" will move into the "millionth rehashed playthrough" zone after a few weeks. Hack'n'slash games are very repetitive and Diablo III is no different.
And please, stop using the plural form when expressing opinions. It's not "none of us here are happy with it". It's "YOU are not happy with it".
Sorry, we > you, Blizz caters to the majority, not the minority. No one gives a shit what you want, you're obviously sticking your nose up Blizzard's a-hole this whole thread already, we're discussing how sad this rehashed content is to be given to us as a glorious "MAGICAL PATCH 2.1"
I wasn't planning on doing seasons but a friend wanted me to atleast level with them and i have to admit the feeling up just starting over fresh with nothing when you have all classes on non-season able to do greater rift 30-38 is pretty nice....i havent played this much since the expansion came out and i'm loving it i guess i was wrong there doesnt always need to be a purpose to try something and like it
I'm playing it too, it's really fun in the casual sense- however, I am not in the LEAST motivated to be competitive/go beyond dinging 70 on the seasonal, the rewards just aren't worth it, and we're safe from Blizz giving rewards to top/ranked players, so it's back to grinding unimaginable wealth and attaining the perfect set of gear so I can one day become Kaizo-kun

Kurwa I hope Russia goes after your country next
Diablo isn't the game for you. Stop playing it and go back to an MMO. The "endgame" of Diablo is simply getting the best clear time or best gear. That...is...it. That is all it ever has been since the original Diablo, that is how it always will be. And no you are not the majority...you are in the minority of the D3 crowd, bud.

I'm not the one placing "we" before every opinion I write down.
Probably because you're suffering from a bad case of perspective. What you need in an infusion of self-righteous conviction, then you'll realize that your opinions are actually empirical truth, that dissenters are mindless fanbois, and then we can all get on with agreeing with each other about how awesome we are and how dumb Blizzard is.
Well I'm talking from the days of D3 launch where with the RMAH shit on the entire lategame. That part got fixed, but now smartloot makes it too quick as well.
I played a new class, the only class I haven't played significantly already, to level 19. By level 15 I was forcing myself to continue. Seasons was a good idea, and that's about it. It wasn't thought through and executed well. I've thought about picking it up again, but games are supposed to be fun and I wasn't having fun. There are too many other more enjoyable options out there and only so much of my time. I doubt I'll play through the season again. It would just result in me dropping the game all together and I don't want that to happen. If you like playing seasons that's great. It's just not worth it to me.
Drop rate seems super high in seasons which I don't agree with, oddly enough. Got better gear on my seasons characters in 2 days than my non-seasons got in months. You hit the loot wall a bit too fast.
That being said, in D2 ladder resets were nothing more than resets. The idea that people are looking for more and more 'incentives' beyond what it is just baffles me. New generation I guess.
Just to add, I just got out of a hardcore season game where 2 of my comrades perished. I survived with maybe 3% life. Great stuff, not really season dependant, but nailbiting none the less. Now excuse me while I go and change my underwear..
