As title says above.

I believe it would more good then harmful, still has cons though.

Also its 50/50 for build diversity and BiS cookie cutters.



What do you all think and why?

In Diablo 2, there use to be 2 slots for weapons. You could switch back and fourth between them.

For me at-least in D2 sometimes as a Sorc you might be pure cold, and when u came across a immune to cold pack it got scary real fast.

I would have another weapon with a skill for ex; Fire that would help me kills these immune packs.

Obviously in this case, D3 doesn't have any immune to cold, fire, posion, etc elite/champion affixes.

But what would be nice is for example, you have a Sunkeeper and you're regular weapon...Maximus, SoH, whatever.

You would switch to the Sunkeeper for elites/champs while you would use you're regular weapon on everything else.

Now it does seem pointless to even have this but it could be a neat little feature.

You can even combine some of these effects together by swapping back and fourth.

I can't really think of examples off the top of my head, but theres def a lot of different possibilities.

I can't think of enough situations where I wanna hot-swap my weapons really. Back in D2, people mostly did it for magic find purposes, and that's not an option in D3.

If anything maybe gear "sets" which would actively swap spots so long as the gear is in your inventory. Why? Every time I see a shrine/pylon, I'm swapping out bracers to spawn a champ back. I sometimes like to swap out my ammy at a moments notice also (I'm looking at you Arcane Immune). I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but gear set hot buttons would appease everyone.

I'd love to see a hot button for skills/gear for say fire wizard, cold wizard, lightning wizard etc... say three hot buttons per character slot with a memory of a set/set up each. Set each one up, click the button to save or reset, and on to the next. Pull right out of your inventory.

And maybe it's only accessible in town, or you know at your stash, I could live with that.

I could see proc'ing one thing, switching to another, but honestly, I don't want that happening any more than it already is.

I have enough to deal with as it is.

Id love to see this, if i attk a reflect mob ill die in 2secs. Switching to a 1h would be great, if i cant attk i cant loh.

Thats a serious issue. Even my DH doesn't take that kinda damage from reflect, no where near. I'd say your build needs a look at.

Its probably the very high base damage on my 2h xbow + 54% crit and 515% crit dam. People forget that dodge doesnt work against reflect and monks get a 30% damage reduce so it doesnt affect them. I may have 10mil toughness but against reflects its really only like 4mil because dodge inflates my toughness.

Yeah, that sounds higher than mine although I can't see it atm. I use a 2h xbow as well, but my crit stats probably aren't that high yet. I'm just at 200 or so para.

I guess this is something I'm going to have to keep an eye on. Although I'm trying to build a maruaders set build eventually.
