The Clan system is a good idea but I think it can be better. I suggest you allow clan members to trade with each other. To keep people from joining a clan, trading then leaving the clan a time period could be put on new memebers before trading is allowed. I suggest 30 days.
Trading should not be limited to just legendary items. It should include:
1. Legendary Items
2. Gold (could have a per day or per week limit)
3. Gems (all levels)
4. Crafting plans (legendary, sets and jewler plans)
Blizzard, please consider adding this to Diablo 3.
Also, with the auction house gone this would help fill the gap there and keep adventuring at the high level it's become since RoS came out.
Another thing to consider is to add some sort of in game reward for completing achievments. I just completed the jeweler event and it would have been nice to get the gem he was looking for. I also just completed talking to a lot of NPC's which is nice and all but gets you nothing in-game. I'd strive to complete all the achievments if it gave me some sort of in-game bonus. For instance, if you complete the kill all unique monsters types in Act 1 (there are achievments like that can't think of the exact name) then you should get something like add 10% to any core charater attribute you want (one time deal). So if I complete that achievement I can choose to add 10% of strength, dexderity, intelligence or Vitality.
If you did this I'd adventure through Sancuary trying to complete all achievments. This would enhance the game so much.
They will never allow trading again in D3 this is why they boost leg drops dramatically and then doubled it. it is for the best. fuck the farming bots. I say good job blizz.
My question is why do you need to be fed gear by clanmates? Why can you not wait till you have played the 160 hours that theoretical kid has played to get high end gear?
I don't usually have all that much time to play either. Between a couple part-time jobs, full-time grad school, and social activities, I have maybe had about 10 hours a week regularly since RoS. I do not expect to run 4minute t6 rifts right now. I am okay with running T2-4 at whatever pace I feel like. I do not expect to compete directly with those who have more time and thought invested in the game than me.
That said, I d like the idea of VERY limited clan trading: Give the ability to officers or clan leaders to organize weekly events that let them give away 1 legendary, maybe crafted only or something, but only to help build clan communities more than just an easy way to put together farming groups like RiF.
I don't get to play much, and I prefer not being able to trade. I still get groups with the clan, if my friends with more gear are on, they don't care about my lower gear because they are actual friends, and I keep that sense of progression in gearing without being spoon fed from people who play more.
There is one big problem with clan trading. Even if you put a 30 day timer to be in a clan before you can trade, people will just make one giant guild with 10000 people, wait 30 days and trade items. The game is fine the way it is, personally I think they should boost the legendary drop rate a bit more (not as much as during the aniversary buff) and/or remove some of the fluff.
The problem is, when you finally find an set item or legendary, its most often than not, semi-useless due to its rolls

you mean justice lantern can actually roll useful stats? i thought it was 100% useless. considering i find justice lantern and manald heal 99.999999999999% of the time when a legendary drops
Fixed that for you. PS3 gets the boosted drops and Trading.
you can trade freely on console?
console has quite a bit of nifty features that pc doesnt. some of them really worth having, some of them kinda pointless
very interesting. in june I will be switching to PS4 console gaming instead of PC. (the idea of being able to be a couchpotato and being able to play D3 is very appealing)

Keep in mind that some items are more catered toward HC players. A well rolled Justice Lantern is quite useful in HC.
Dyzlol; Clan limit is 150 members. I would fully support a clan trading system in conjunction with time restrictions. I enjoy the writhing death of the 3rd party trade, as well as the diminished bot presence BoA has given us. Either way, I'm good with whatever decision they come up with. BoA adds a unique flavor to D3 imo.
It does bug me though. There are so many different Legendary items in the game, both drop-able and craftable, yet many many of them are really flat, glorified rares. Imagine how awesome itemization would feel if all these Legs had special Orange affixes?
