I just checked the three first pages of general discussion. Of all those 60 threads, only 3 (!) are so called "RNG QQ thread". All three are high up, two of them however would have died if those who are annoyed of such threads wouldn't give it free bumps all the time.
If you don't like such discussions, don't respond to them. You are providing them with free bumps. This forum does not contain of 80% "RNG QQ threads". It's simply not true. We would be closing threads if this was the fact, but it's not. One of those three threads may get closed if people don't stay on topic, though.

I mean no disrespect but I will point out an error in your counting by listing only the first pages QQ threads. 7 currently on first page.
People love to fall back on "rng" BS. I have over 100 hours /played just on my WD since RoS, and believe me when I say I've had days where it has rained loots (good loots), and other days where I could play for 3 hours straight and maybe get a soul or two.
I very, highly, seriously doubt that their RNG generator truly works right. I've never believed it did.

But... you just described exactly how RNG is supposed to work. How is it that people don't understand this? RNG means that you will have good days, bad days, and mixed days. I mean, seriously, you have two polar opposite experiences and you can't figure out how that relates to proper RNG?

I think people forget to factor (think) in the amount of clickable and density into their angry RNGnoRNG posts. I have had several rifts where i spawn the boss before i even clear the first level and then head down to level 6 after that... Take into account the amount of trash mobs compared to the amount of elite packs... quantity of clickables/barrels. With this and the fact that i am wearing two left shoes and a 6 layered tin foil hat at the moment i should be popping legs like 50 cent. I also have no idea what im talking about as i do not own D3 but i am entitled to all the phat lootz

Are you saying that for you to believe that the RANDOM number generator works right, that it needs to cause the same number of drops to drop every day?
I personally farm Torment 5 and 6 rifts only for about 7-10 hours every day depending on what I am doing that day. I usually find between 4-5 legendaries every day. It has actually been a few days since I have found a set item. So yeah drop rates are pretty low at the moment. I feel confident that 2.0.5 will help that a bit with bloodshard increase on higher torments and with cache dropping other and more legendaries.
See, here's the problem with your post: You're assuming that your low amount of legendaries-per-day is because of drop rates. The reality is that you're either suffering from bad-luck RNG OR you're, as they say, "doing it wrong."
Let me give you an example: This weekend, I did a lot of bounties and rifting it forward. After my first hour of bounties, I opened all of my caches and received something like 3-4 legendaries (3 RoRGs, even!). 2 Rift Guardians in a row gave me legendary swords (one of which was a Thunderfury, yay!! :D). I probably got 5-10 legendary chests just from spending blood shards (including one Cindercoat, YAY!!! :D).
Typically, I'm in the 1-2 legendaries per hour crowd, but I was very lucky with drops on Saturday (the rings, swords, and chests). The next day, I repeated the process and got no legendaries from bounties, significantly less legendary drops, and a total of 2 legendary gloves from Kadala (both St. Andrews, ... no Magefist ).
So, according your logic, drop rates were GREAT on Saturday and TERRIBLE on Sunday. In reality, though, I was just really lucky on Saturday (and got a bunch of drops that I actually wanted) and slightly less lucky on Sunday (where, indeed, I kept up the 1-2 leg per hour metric).
TL;DR: You're either unlucky or you're doing it wrong. I'm guessing the latter. Dropping down to Torment 4 would probably dramatically increase the amount of legendaries you find.
Nope drop rates are just low. And yeah RNG is RNG. But for me, 30 consecutive days of 4-5 legendaries on average with max being 10 and minimum being 3. This with at most 12 hours of gameplay and 7 hours being minimum. (No life I know). And nope, not doing it wrong, takes 15-30 minutes to clear t6 runs with my group, We clear the whole thing.
15-30 minutes = yes, you are doing it wrong.
I get that people play Torment 6 for the challenge, but the fact that it takes you up to 30 minutes to clear a rift is exactly why your legendary rate is low. You're not clearing fast enough. Drop down to Torment 4 and you'll be clearing so much faster and you'll get legendaries more often.
Anyone can correct me if they want but, when it comes to legendaries, efficiency is key. You're not farming efficiently. Recognize this and your problem can go away.
Okay you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Just giving you a rough estimate. I guess you missed the 15 minute part as well. But the time played is irrelevant in the long term. If I do 40 Torment 1 rifts in a day, I find 4-5 legendaries. If I do 40torment 6 rifts in a day, I find 4-5 legendaries.I can easily run 30-40 t6 rifts in a day and end with 4-5 legendaries. Belloc, you are doing it wrong sir. You don't have to have selective reading skills to help prove your point. It is okay that not everyone in the game is sharing the same experience as you. You don't have to attack other people's methods just because you are stuck in Torment 1. You'll get to torment 6 eventually.
Show your data. Instead of giving vague numbers and selective memory, do 100 T1 runs and 100 T6, and write down exactly the number of legendaries, time taken, number of monsters killed, etc. like how they are doing it in the other posts.

Dude, if you're finding 4-5 legendaries a day consistently I have to agree there is something wrong with your method. I just played for about 80 minutes and found another 3 legendaries... Tone down your difficulty, stop punching above your weight; maybe you'll find some more.
Fact is in the time it takes for you to do 40 t6 rifts (finding tha 4-5 legendaries) you could have done 100 t1 rifts. That is if its taking you 15 minutes to clear the rift (hint: rifts should take 5-8 minutes or you're not doing enough damage, scale it down or group with friends who can carry you)
like someone above said, efficiency and such is key. i played for 3-4 hours yesterday and got 34 legs.
i do rift it forward, solo, t3-4 and clear every rift in 5-6 minutes or less. sometimes ill go 6 rifts without seeing a leg, sometimes i'll get 3-4 in one rift.
i dont believe u find 1 leg a day playing 6-10 hours, unless 1 rift takes u 6-10 hours.
RNG can be RNG sure, but not that bad. up your efficiency tho, clear rifts that take you no more than 8 minutes. if they do, drop it down. the higher drop rates just arent worth it. the only reason to farm 5-6+ is for paragon levels, unless you have absolute god gear and melt 5-6. which u should if you really do play a steady 6-10 hours a day. just gotta learn to farm properly.
for loot, you farm the highest difficulty you can melt.

Okay, turn off whatever part of your brain is malfunctioning and actually understand these words for a moment, okay? Here goes:
If you can clear 30-40 T6 rifts in a day, then you can do 100 T3-4 rifts in a day. 100 T3-4 rifts = MORE LEGENDARIES than 30-40 T6 rifts. Do you understand? Does that make sense to you?
Torment 6 is great for saying "yay, I'm better than all of you," but it's not great for getting legendaries unless you can clear it just as fast as a lower Torment rift. That's how efficiency works -- the more rifts you can clear, the more opportunities you'll have for legendaries. You can play T6 all you want, but don't come here complaining about not getting legendaries when we've already explained that your 15-30 minute T6 rifts are the problem.
So, yeah, stop blinding defending your methods. You're getting so few legendaries because you're farming Torment 6 inefficiently when you could be farming Torment 3-4 efficiently.
P.S. Sure, I don't have the gear for T6 and I'm fine with that. I do, however, have the gear to do, say, T3-4. Buuuuut, guess what? T3-4 takes too long, so I do T1-2. And, hey, look at that, I get plenty of legendaries. I guess that's what happens when you don't waste your time in content that takes too long to clear.

1. Is it just me
2. Frostburn
3. Set Items Drop Rate Too Low
4. Is Kadala Bugged
5. T1>T6 wtf
6. Frostburn Gloves Too Rare
7. Torment 3 Drop Rates
I very, highly, seriously doubt that their RNG generator truly works right. I've never believed it did.
Yeah, that sounds RANDOM.
