Went up against him with a Meteor Shower build. Only things that could kill him was my follower and my basic 'out of arcane power' attack.

Oh he was defiantly immune to my explosive blast. I was farming the white items my cold armor kill him, but my fire did no damage to him.

There is also a cold immune mob, it's in one of those dungeons in the eternal battle field and a similar sort of demon. can't remember the name of it.

The scorched spiders or whatever they are called that you sometimes fight in rifts take 50% fire damage... very annoying on my explosive blast fire wizard

You sure black damage or inherent ele weapon damage weren't the culprits? So many sources of damage in D3, even in a fire build.
