I am looking for advice on stat decisions, and hope to help some others in the process wondering the same thing
At the moment I have several characters doing T1, softcore and hardcore. Pretty normal gear, half decent legs, other half rerolled rares
My question is about different DPS stats. I have seen people claim crit and crit damage on every piece is the way to go, others about elite damage, and most agree on element/skill being very efficient.
When gearing up, is there a certain gear level and or mob difficulty on where the allocation of these stats weigh differently?
I know crit damage gem is best for a weapon, but what about gear choices where you may not have great legs to make your build
For instance I have a stone of Jordan that will make me lose 20% DPS, but it's has 25% elite damage and 15% fire damage, which I use a fire build. Unfortunately I feel in T1 I kill even trash mobs too slow, currently at 350k DPS. Unfortunately that is after 80 paragon levels worth of grinding that gear alone, a lot of bad luck if seems. Also that is a hardcore character so I do have more toughnes than softcore
Just looking for some insight on what you guys reroll and prioritize, what difficulty you run, what class, and hardcore/softcore
You should get CC and CHD on both rings and neck if possible, even for hardcore. Get magefists (Kadala), they have 5 stats, so you don't sacrifice anything important for the extra fire damage.
Most of the time elite vs elemental vs crit isnt a choice, get them all (SoJ is probably the best ring with RoRG, but you will only get chd on the soj and need super luck to get both on the RoRG). What class are you btw?
Main is a Hardcore WD, fire pet build with fire bats, no legendaries of note besides thing of the deep (20 yard pickup radius) and the stone of Jordan with fire damage. My gear is lacking a bit, went from 450k DPS to about 360K adding skill damage and balancing toughness. Running PUG 4 person T1 rifts, but feel lacking without BBVD going.Weapon is 2300 DPS with socket.
I am overcompensating on toughness (12K) but also feel like I haven't gotten much luck with legs, only half equipped with what I have found.
My SoJ is Vitality and Fire damage I believe, unfortunately not able to access my gear at this second.
