So here is a pretty solid bug, You don't get counted for transmog when you hold a new set item, but yet the new wukong shoulders did? (and can be transmoged) on top of this, If you transmog your new item THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE ORIGINAL BACK!!! please fix this...

Can you explain this a bit clearer? Especially if there's a bug, so maybe someone can actually fix it.

Say Helltooth or Reakors or Of the earth pieces drop, it doesnt come up with "new transmog found" BUT, when I received a piece of Wukong set (monk shoulders) don't remember the actual name, I can now transmog that item through all my characters, Also When you transmog said Items, from original to a new look, there is NO WAY to retrieve the old look back, losing it forever Clear enough?

So, if you don't receive a "new transmog" you don't have that view in the choices later on if you want to go back to it, correct?

That makes sense. The issue is that there isn't a new transmog indicating...and the problem or result is you can't go back.

I have noticed that it is dependent on picking it up for the first time, as in, all the old stuff I have isn't listed in the transmog either...not directly linked to this issue, just sux as well.

This is intentional. Legacy items do not give transmogrification skins.

What OP is talking about is the new Torment-only sets - Firebird, Marauder, et al - are not unlocking their visuals to transmogrify when you ID them as they should be.
