In preparation for the launch of patch 2.0.1, the Reaper of Souls™ Beta and Patch 2.0.1 PTR servers will be brought offline this evening at 5:00 p.m. PT. At that time, players will no longer be able to log in to the Beta or PTR client, all Beta and PTR accounts (including character information) will be reset, and both our Beta forums and PTR forums will be marked as read-only.
We'd like to thank everyone who has participated in the Reaper of Souls Beta and Patch 2.0.1 PTR. You've done an amazing job of testing, and we greatly appreciate all of the feedback you provided during this critical phase of development.
We look forward to releasing patch 2.0.1 to public shortly and encourage everyone to stay tuned to this website for exciting news and updates regarding the upcoming launch of Reaper of Souls!

thanks for spelling doubt correctly i never can remember...
Anyways on topic- honestly, i don't have a good reason. I just think in a week makes more sense. I hope to god i'm wrong. But i think it will be in a week.
its easy to remember, I before E except after C. wait that doesnt apply here
I think it'll be next week because that's the one day I cant play at all - and i think they mentioned it on a korean site - but i could be wrong. No harm in hoping though right?

Patch might not be tomorrow, but this sure give even more credibility to the korean site, which already had good credibility that patch was gona be 4/3. Closing the week before release is pretty logical. They could surprise and launch it tomorow, but one way or another it wont be 1 week before releases since they are closing any type of testing, means on their end its pretty much finished and usually when blizzard think something is finished they sure as hell took their sweet time. If this mirror most of their PTR/BETA that is. Which i dont see why not.
No auction house closing has nothing to do with it, never had.

Yeah since Items/gold are BoA in 2.0 AH has nothing to do with loot 2.0
As glad as I am that PTR is closing , I am really surprised that Beta is closing , thought it is a continuous development until launch.
Anyways PTR is was in a great shape except for the lag when changing quests. can't wait for the patch to hit live.
Cya all on live.
They are still working on it but do not need the closed beta testers anymore. What remains is polishing and their in house testing team can test those changes.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
honestly i hope the patch goes live as late as possible, loot 2.0 adds nothing if you are stuck at level 60.
a pair of new bracers perhaps but thats about it.
That's not true. I found tonnes of great items on ptr servers. The thing is that for most players the level 60 2.0 smart loot will not last that long due to most of us will be getting the expansion.

Defiantly untrue. I've spent close to 100 hours on PTR since it was put up for testing. My DH farms up to T3 easily, and besides crafted gloves he's in all PTR legendaries, and it was a blast =D Even without the RoS / beta features, just leveling paragon and farming when you know that the drops have a realistic chance at being good for your character makes Diablo actually FEEL like diablo.
^Yeah not true, I've spend 70-80 hours on the PTR, I have mp10 characters live and 30-50% of my gear is 2.0 on the PTR. Generally the areas you will improve are shoulders, chest, bracers, boots, and helm. Jewelry and weapons generally wont be replaced with lv 60 2.0 gear.
Quick run down of 2.0 gear improvements:
Wiz: Full new tal's set, shoulders seven sins (400/400, bonus to skill affix), bracers with elemental affix 300/200/6cc, boots 200/200/12ms/bonus to skill
Monk: Seven sins (400/400 bonus to skill), lightning helm( 23%light damage, 300/300, 5.5cc, bracers with lightning 300/200/6cc, new Unity,
Too lazy to list the rest of my characters but same kind of stuff.
I have replaced all gear on the 2 characters I was using. I do not have the super duper greatest gear but still I was looking more oddball gear and builds. I think I am only using a couple legendaries and most of the gear is dropped rares or crafted rares.

Beta testers might feel that loot 2.0 is missing without the Mystic or Campaign is no longer enough without Adventure Mode ,Bouties and Rifts but patch 2.01 is much better than current Vanilla.
Paragon leveling feels great now , you gain experience much faster , it lets you customize for a small degree your character depending on your build and gear , loot 2.0 offers alot of variety in playstyles when you start finding those build changing legendaries and set items.
Also knowing that whatever you find in loot 2.0 can still have some value when RoS launches and not just some item with 0 value as soon as you reach level 65.
Classes get good balance and it revives many new builds even without the special affixes.
It is a good patch and I hope we get it asap , I have been taking a long break from a game I love because it doesn't feel rewarding enough to play , it is time for that to end
