Level 70 monsters will give 20 million xp/each, Shaggy. Re-do tha math!
Seriously, it amazes me this sort of discussion reaches 3 pages. I simply can't understand, with the huge amount of sweeping changes to other game systems, how a discussion/video like this can provide any remotely useful feedback.
The only conclusion we will probably reach with this is that different people who play for different amount of times think the ability to max their stats should take different amounts of time. For me, something like 40-50 hours for Paragon 100 is ok-ish, but to others it's "nothing", and to some others it's too much.
And the middle ground, as usual, is nigh impossible to find.
40-50 hour in Ros or right now? Because i think that 40-50 hours to get to para 100 at moment is nothing maybe 200-300 hours i mean even if you play like 2-4 hours a day that means it only take you about 100 to 75 days to hit cap which is not that long. I really hope that making it to para 200 in Ros will take about 2-3 months after that getting to para 300 will take another 2-3 months and so on ideally para 1000 will be a year to year and half grind.
That rough example didn't represent the entirety of the new features. By all standards you can replay the entire game from scratch with the changes made to itemization, classes and crafting. That in itself is another couple hundred hours of (somewhat renewed) gameplay.
If things work out well, featured like Nephalem Trials and Loot Runs should add a meaningful endgame that allows for that endless chase for the perfect items, which is what Diablo was always about.
D3 has enough MMORPG characteristics in it already. It doesn't need a 2k+ hour grindfest that gives people a higher number to show off how much time they can play to be a solid expansion.

ok here is what i think....
since there is no cap whatsoever, blizzard might wanna keep paragon leveling as a show off, higher you have paragon is kinda a state and pride you hold.. If that is the case ( most probably) it will take a lot longer than people imagine to hit paragon 200 or 300 or 1000!!

I do. Now what?
Well that's your hope and all lol but seriously if the paragon levels are infinite then i hope that they make the curve in XP a good one other wise if you can quickly get to 600 people will dump everything in the main stats and then just work on MF/ movement from that point on...
I did some quick math just using the 1.440.000 number used from paragon 1-60. and i came up with that the current paragon 100 (one character only) would equal paragon 120 using the 1.440.000 curve and 10 paragon 100 characters will equal paragon 380.
and that would be a plenthora of paragon points to spend. if the 16 (now known) stats has a cap of 50 each that would equal 800 points to spend but its possible that the stat magic find will be infinite.
Now if we gain 5 stats points per level (the standard of previous games that would gives us 500 points to spend from the current paragon curve from a p100 character)
But they could also make faster paragon levling and give 1 stat point per level instead just giving paragon level a quick glance of spent paragon stat points.
just for fun in the 1.440.000 curve paragon lvl 1000 will be 720.720.000.000 exp and is equal to 69 current p100 characters
