We’d like to continue with this line of reasoning and use it to make Legendaries more powerful. In the future, we plan to allow Legendary items to also roll their base stats (weapon DPS and armor value) at the level of the monster that dropped them.
I doupt they´re gonna buff EF that much, since its so OP allready. So if the damage would naturally rise too much, they fix it some way for sure.
Blizz are not going to intentionally buff ef, blizz just will fix affixes. I can't see scenario, that they will somehow nerf stats (other than fixing min-max bug, but i'm not sure how much damage it really adds).
I tend to agree with KalikooJack. I think that when they fix affixes, allow legendaries to roll at any iLvl, add new legendaries, etc., they'll most likely also do a balance pass on the updated legendaries to make sure nothing is too crazy. That's not to say that EF won't get better -- I'm just not sure we can say how much.

Has anyone already calculated possible maximum damage of incoming echoing fury (excluding attack speed and ruby) ?
I got something like 1488 maximum possible damage (current is 1323.6), but pretty sure I calculated something wrong.
