should valuable button as CTRL be wasted on seeing characteristic of items?
it could be put to much better use like:
a) force move
'natural attack' - attacking WITHOUT use of skill and therefore using natural item properties, like chill
point being that CTRL is nice button, very close to SHIFT, ALT and therefore possibly much better utilized in fight, since it's so micro-friendly
Btw ctrl is fine, since 99.9999²³x10³³³% of all items are thrash and we have to spend a long damn time to ID them all (about 25% of the time i spend to complete a run) CTRL helps me quickly inspect to see if any of those pieces of junk are even worth picking up...
I just pick up 63 and legendarys, and even so when i feel like what i see on the ctrl inspect might indicate anything worthwhile.
i have a hard habits from d2, so i immediately remmaped SPACE back to old function. new ALT is bothering me also, used to press it for pickup things, wish it remained at old function and "show all" to be some other button. as for CTRL, i usually force move d2 style, but new CTRL function means NOTHING to me. same as old alt. then again, force move is getting along with my wc3 habits, so i guess i would start to use it
as of now, i didn't press CTRL ONCE. but it would be best if it could be remapped, why wouldn't it? voted for force move, but my real vote goes to 'can be rebinded'

i rebinded control (trough mouse software), shift and potions to mouse buttons, so i always have all my fingers statically over skill buttons.
I vote por "can be rebinded" also.
We're missing an "other" button, CTRL is useless as is, but not exactly intuitive for the other purposes. Not sure what I'd use if for, but none of the above
I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, after being quoted, feel the need to renounce my earlier opinions of both 'force move' move or 'natural attack', in favor of full rebind of all buttons!
'natural attack' still may be useful, giving free chill or other more or less interesting effects and effectually VII skill buttons. the idea lost its value due constant buffing of primaries, otherwise it was idea worthy of infinite intellect of The God. Example, for less enlightened: DH shoots chains-what-is-name for 87% dps, then use natural chill to slow enemy more for 100% dps. patches buffing ALL primaries constantly - no visible reason, The God declares, remove much of this potential use

what do you think?

EXCEPT CTRL
by the way, i found myself confused when SPACE changed it's function... old habit, i guess

it was a WTF moment when I found out you could not rebind ctrl.
as for ctrl, i just loot anything, so i don't care much

is there a "force move" key?
I use it fine, therefore it shouldn't be an option!
