Ancient path goblin removed, pretty much confirmed. I ran it 30+ times and didn't see one. Before my longest stretch w/o a goblin was 12. RNG is RNG, but other are reporting this as well on the main forums. How hard is it to add "and Ancient Path" to the patch notes instead of making us find out the hard way?
This is a known side-effect of Blizzard's client/server architecture. The patch notes we get are primarily client patch notes, so client-affecting changes have a very straightfoward route to the notes, but things like monster and chest spawn locations are purely server-side changes, so the path by which they reach the patch notes is a bit more convoluted, and they sometimes get lost. IMO Blizzard should just have a separate blog or thread somewhere to keep us informed about server-side changes... and/or improve their processes, of course
Dunno if this was covered anywhere, but I noticed that after killing Haedrig's wife in act 1 normal, instead of just walking out over the town bridge, it now teleports you to the area outside town. No more 'they just keep coming, stand your ground' part anymore.

This was changed a couple patches ago, to prevent monsters from going inside town.

Finnishing act 1 (killing butcher then going into the next room) and killing that last pack of mobs to complete the act now rewards something like 3800 gold again back up from the nerfed 800

I think the patch notes say that the first time you complete a quest in Inferno you'll get higher rewards.
Also I swear that banners look differently now. They have a brighter tinge than before.
Chat window now displays both the channel and your name in every message (f.e. [Party][MyNameIs] HaHa).
Am I going crazy or do Shields roll higher attributes now (at least for main attributes). I don't remember reading it anywhere but I'm finding shields with 200 stats now that I don't remember seeing before the patch... am I crazy or is this new?

Many of the changes listed in this thread were not included in the patch notes yesterday. The patch notes have been updated today to reflect these omissions.
The guys who explode after dying now have a much larger orb to warn users of an upcoming explosion.
