Are you trolling or simply aren't old enough to remember that despite these claims Diablo 1 had its share of issues even after patches. Most significant was the infamous item duplication bug which pretty much killed battle.net games (where everyone was rocking messerschmidt's and other goodly duplicated gear) It pretty much broke the game if you chose to abuse it. And to my knowledge it was never patched.
While both blizzard and their games have grown bigger since that time they are still paying a lot of attention to the quality of their products. They are quick to fix bugs and open to discussion about aspects of the game that may need improving.
So get over yourself.
Edit: Sorry for the outburst. I realize you might have posted the screenshot just for sentiment value. All the recent blizzard-hate posts everywhere make me want to punch the internet
There was also not a RMAH back then, standards are higher than they have ever been, yet blizzard does not seem to realize that, or they do and just do not care.
This is Diablo One, right? The one that had the quick-click duping exploit? The one where you could beat the entire game in 6 minutes thanks to mana shield and potion-spam?
OP is trolling. Might not know it.
The thing about comments like this is that the OP posted a picture, nothing more. It was posted completely without comment other than "enjoy". Considering it has no other context; any argument that this post is for or against the current blizzard games and design philosophy is just speculation.
It's an interesting reminder of the past, that much is certain.
Um, the context is pretty clear by the title of the post. Don't pretend to be so naive.
They thought it was a quality product and Bioware thought SWTOR was a quality product. They weren't released early, it was the game design philosophy.
Both are quality products, actually.
You can argue that SWTOR/D3 have little "end game" but to say there isn't anything prior to that is silly. And SWTOR is a good game (till level cap, at least, beyond that who knows - I don't like grouping up so I never raided/flashpoints) for an MMO. Always the caveat ;).
It's simply that video games are not meant to be consumed for 20 hours a day like far too many people do these days. So, the content is burned through a lot more quickly than intended. It's just not possible to sate people who will sit there for 48 hours straight doing something. This is probably why you see a lot of sandbox games these days, where the story is secondary to dicking around an open world and just doing whatever to kill time.

*nods* I know how you feel.
Propaganda is an appeal to emotion, not intellect. Since we all know blizzard's (and everyone else for that matter) previous releases have been just as fraught with the usual problems, it's necessary for the unsatisfied to keep throwing these tid-bits of nostalgia, peppered with half-truths or out-right fallacies, at the general populace. Without the continued reminder that "things used to be better," or "look at how awful things are now," people might have a chance to form their own opinions.
I could draw a few obvious historical parallels, but I don't think any of them would be in good taste.

Oh. Well. In that case...
I am reminded that Blizzard used to make games that were basically reworks of existing genre standards, but tweaked and polished to greatly improve accessibility and widen appeal. The used to make games with serious bugs and dubious game-mechanics (Warrior activate: REPAIR!). They released whenever they felt like it, and had a real knack for making great art-assets look good on fairly ordinary computers. The also had a habit of grossly underestimating how well their games would do, and how hard people would try to break them.
Um, the context is pretty clear by the title of the post. Don't pretend to be so naive.
Except it's not clear.
Spin 1:
This is how Blizzard used to be, they used to wait until the game was 100% done and would never release a game that they felt was buggy. This just shows how Blizzard has fallen from the path they used to follow and only care about money. Activision is the worst thing to happen to Blizzard, they just want to get games out fast and don't care if it's broken or ready.
Spin 2:
Blizzard has always tried to make games of quality with as few bugs as possible. Even Diablo 1 they tried to release it "when it's done" but had to eventually put out the product. Diablo 1 (as well Diablo 2) was far from perfect at release and needed fixing right from the start. Then and now the same promises were made and appeared to be broken. Everyone that thinks that blizzard has changed is seeing things through rose tinted glasses, they're the same company and made similar mistakes.
Conclusion:
An image without context is read into based on the emotions of the reader. We see what we wish to see. Because so many hate threads have been popping up everyone assumes the worst. Now, it very well could be a bashing post. I'm mostly inclined to agree with you, however since I do not know the OP or what their intent is, I plan on just looking at the image with Nostalgia and remembering how bad web design was back then.
Basically, I rather not put words into the OP's mouth. He could just be sitting back and watching this thread with amusement as people argue. People do like to do that

Agreed to both of you. I'm not sure what it is, but it's some sort of bandwagon certain people like to hop on to, most likely named 'burn blizzard'. If you take a look at history, hell even the world around us it's obvious that people need a common enemy to feel better about themselves. For some reason, some people just feel better hating something then liking it. Sad really, but Blizzard will pull past this. They've made just what I was hoping for; A game that I can spend hours on if I want, that is fun to play.
