D3 is either too easy or extremely frustrating because close to all drops that happen are crap and the difficulty steps are too big.
I do understand what you're saying, but there is NO question that D3 is more difficult than D2 ever was (outside of immunities). I simply don't understand people saying that D3 is "too easy" and then pining for D2 days in the very next sentence. I mean difficulty is somewhat subjective, but it's pretty obvious when you fire both games up on Hell and give them a whirl that D3 is not as easy as D2 was, especially with the champion-type packs. In fact, the CD on potions has vastly increased the difficulty. In D2 you could kill anything you wanted provided you had enough of the best potions. That's simply not the case in D3.
That being said, Diablo has never been a "OMG SO BRUTAL TOO HARD" kind of game. It has always been a game that anyone can finish and it's been much more about entertainment through slaughtering wave after wave of hell's denizens than anything else. I simply don't get the "Diablo is too easy" comments. I can't believe anyone who has actually played the Diablo series truly expected this to be on the "bullet hell" style and level of difficulty.
Its absolutely retarded that anyting lower then lvl 60 drops in inferno, i mean HELLO you have to be lvl 60 to even be in inferno. finding lvl 52 items is the dumbest thing ever. Loot system is absolutley broken.
I take it youre new to Diablo 3. Blizzard fuck it up, everybody knows.
This game is really awesome when it comes to loot. Sure I have to play 5 hours or more in act 2/3 to maybe get something that sells. But you know what, last night, I got 2 pieces that sold for 5mill each, I did play about 10 hours, but it was really fun. Not every 10 hour is gonna give you good loot, and Im stilling hunting for the item that sells in the hundreds of millions.
It is SO much satisfaction knowing, that each undiscover on a 62-63 can net you an item that makes you so happy you would smile for weeks. This game is basically an item grind fest, and its MUCH better at it then MMOs (wow comes to mind, grinding terrible easy bosses that will NEVER give you what you need, and if it does, you have to randomize it again vs other people in group [thinking about a rare mount]). Sometimes I wonder if those complaining in here are literally retarded or have ever played a videogame before. Sure there can be small tweaks too loot, small ones, not handing out good gear on an hourly basis.
I love this game, I feel lucky to live and play this game, its so fun and rewarding. Yes, I have to work a long time to get my gear, and I need to read a lot what other classes and specs need, so that I can actually identify myself what sells. I bet most noobs throw good gear out the windows that could have sold for 10millions.
PS: Im a casual player, 2 hours a night on average.
The whole loot system is wrongly set-up. The game is build on use of GAH and RMAH.
All the players will reach the point in the game, where the most efficient time to find the upgrade is AH.
That point happens the minute you set foot in Inferno, if not earlier.
These are rented pixels. None of it is worth anything anyhow (and yes, everyone who buys on the RMAH is overpaying by that exact amount)
I really wish people would take an Intro to Economics class before pontificating about the value of commodities. I can't repeat this enough... just because you find the fact that people pay for pixels to be abhorrent doesn't mean those pixels don't have some innate monetary value. There are tons of prodcuts/services in this world that I would never purchase but that simply doesn't mean they should be free. That's a very severe jump in logic. All it indicates is slightly lower demand. Nothing more.

I agree, despite what the college kids who took a couple of economics courses say.
The game cost $60. For $60, I should have access to everything necessary to beat that game, even become "godly" if that is part of the game. The minute I decide to pay more than $60, is the minute I should start saving my money to buy a new game.

I can sum up your post (and the quoted post) in one word: derp.
You saying going to the movies is a waste of money, too? Since you're just "renting" the screen? You don't get to keep the movie when you leave the theater, so why go at all, right?
Here's the key concept you're missing: time has value. Let that sink in, and then come back when you can formulate a coherent, intelligent thought on the matter.
