So they mentioned they are aiming for 1.03 to be released hopefully by the end of this month.
have they made any timetable on when they would like 1.1 to be released? i seen on the home page they were talking about 1.1 and the legendaries buff and pvp. didnt know if they have a estimate yet on its hopeful release
Game is boring as hell now. Ah is over priced. All the Act 2 nubs in Act 4 parties. What a load of sludge. DH with 6k hp...lolollol
Then get some gear, farm some gold and items to sell - or join some public games, make some friends or better yet stop playing and stop posting useless posts on the forum.
1.1 will prob be mid summer/end of q2 start of q3 - imo
They need to get this initial patch out to keep people happy and address some stuff/issues like the legendaries, but 1.1 will be buffing, changing the engine in some cases no doubt and most of all class changes.
1.1 will also bring pvp into the game so its going to be the main big content update.
If you set yourself 3 month timeline then either way your going to be close, whether its earlier or later.

*cough*
The Legendaries makeover is in 1.1. They have said a number of times it wont make it for 1.0.3
I hope that 1.0.3 is well received by the D3 community and will show us that Blizzard is working on making the game what we gamers expect.
1.1 can take as long as they like as long as they put in additional content, fix the imbalances (further) in the classes and with the game, and drops. PVP will be fun for those that enjoy it, but I suspect it will be a small percentage of the D3 community. Perhaps dangle some carrots to get more players into PVP, such as gear upgrades, or additional achievements may help make it popular.
I don't expect 1.1 before Sept or October, possibly November. We'll see additional patches and hotfixes all paving the way to make the game even better.
This game is a joke. Releasing the game making set items horrible, some rares/blues better than legendary items. Wait let's wait until 1.1 to buff it and put item level to show why some blues and rares are better than some legendary and set items. Regardless what stat you use and seems to work, Blizzard will nerf it because they want you to play the game how they want. Where's the fun to that? IAS is getting nerfed obviously, but what's next after find a way to fly by inferno; crit chance/crit damage? This is irrelevant but doesn't it seem like activision/blizzard are now making bad games. Modern warfare 3, wotlk , cataclysm....

Oh you people, still on that boat that a small portion of players will play PvP? Look at your famed "majority" PvM'ers who are dropping like flys in this game. Your PvM is broken and boring to the mass majority it seems, your public games serve purpose to only what 10k or so people? I love how you guys can still go on about how PvP is the "minority". Ignorant is as ignorant always has been I guess.

D3 isn't designed to be a GOOD PvP game. It's a PvE game going to offer a PvP feature on the side for people enjoying it.
If you really love PvP, you picked the wrong game. There are tons of games, some mmorpgs to begin with, that are clearly designed for PvP and provide MUCH better PvP than any diablo game ever will.
If a "majority" of D3 players are not a little but VERY interested by PvP, then a LOT of D3 players made a huge mistake. And quite frankly, I don't think they did, so i'im gonna go with "D3 players really eager for PvP are a minority".
People loving PvP are still playing games such as Aion or L2 (both F2P), Tera (poorly implemented but very fun PvP), or waiting for GW2.

ahh yes because in D2 days, clearly it was all about PVP, tppk, and everything, but you're right Diablo has always been about PVP, that's also the reason they released D3 without PVP and said that they were gonna balance PVP to a point it would not hinder PVE.

Just trying to add something positive, but I'm relatively sure that they are "fixing" some legendaries in 1.0.3; The "buff" will be in the later patch. In fact, according to the link here:

Why people think 1.0.3 will actually change anything?? You should take a real close look at the patch notes:-Professions will still be worthless, they will make leveling easier wich isnt a big deal, and we can all craft the billions of gems we arelady have in the stash cheaper...woohoo-Inferno will still be like nowdays, or even worse, they will nerf mobs health and damage BUT they will nerf attack speed even harder, so in reality mobs will be even harder to kill-The loot tables wont change anything, the chance of getting a high ilvl item is still small, and theres always a chance of you ending up with a xbow with str. In the end loot will still be so randomized that farming for gold will still be miles ahead of item farm.Diablo 3 is far from being a game, its more a economic simulator and the only thing keeping the majority of people playing is the chance of making pixels into dollars.
I don't even understand why some of you people remain on these forums. You just rant to no end in every thread.
1. New thread is created, OP asks "Help me decide between these two builds"
2. Angst filled forum troll emerges, posts "D3 sux so hard!!! This game is crap, Blizz just wants you to use the RMAH to make $$$, they don't care and this game is garbage (and on and on and on he goes).
If you hate the game so much then fine, stop playing it. Why do you remain on the forums posting about it? I mean, how small and meaningless does your life have to be to spend so much time and effort posting vitriol about a video game you claim to hate? I don't get it.

That is actually a mis-type on Diablofans' part.
ITEM DROPS are changing in 1.0.3, to allow for ilevel 62 and 63 items to drop in as early as Act 1 of Inferno, and better drop chances in Acts 2-4. It shouldn't be listed under Legendaries.
As the table a little bit further down in that news thread shows, it is a 2% chance for ilevel 63 in Act 1 Inferno, 4% in Act 2, and 8% in Act 3 and Act 4. That is a big step up from the 0% in both Act 1 and 2.
This does have an impact on Legendary drops, cause you can POTENTIALLY get an ilevel 62 or ilevel 63 Legendary in Act 1 of Inferno.

I'm both glad and sad that you are the only one who had replied so far that actually knew anything about the upcoming patch.

Lol at craving for PvP and playing D3 seriously

Comparing Diablo to WoW only proves that you have no clue what you are talking about.
And to quote WoW (as it seems to make more sense to some people... And its a badass line!)
You are not prepared!
get more MF and farm what you can!
leave game and do that again!
if it is too difficult, go back to hell/nightmare/normal!
quit complaining
