For using Dark3d that is simply an overlay to enhance the shitty cartoon graphics and the Diablo 3 font ingame changer I am done giving blizz my money..
my toons are low level (lv 38 highest) and ive only gathered approx 700,000 coin total..
according to ther forums and ther rules altering the gameclint aka overlay is enufe from blizzards post
Playing Diablo III legitimately means playing with an unaltered game client. Doing otherwise violates our policies for Battle.net and Diablo III, and it goes against the spirit of fair play that all of our games are based on. We strongly recommend that you avoid using any hacks, cheats, bots, or exploits. Suspensions and bans of players that have used or start using cheats and hacks will begin in the near future.
I'm tired of you self-entitled jackasses who are unable to comprehend a simple message:
Any use of third-party programs that tweak or alter the client may be applicable towards receiving a ban.
You knew this, and still decided to take a risk with using Dark3d; according to the creator however it doesn't interfere directly with the client in any way whatsoever, so the likelihood of you receiving a ban is minimal.
Chill out dude
Im tired of people who call someone a jackass just because they feel what they used is not technically cheating yet they say any mods are..
Pretty sure it doesn't require any alterations to the client also. I have a program that makes my computer screen easier on the eyes depending on the time of day. It works on the desktop and all programs even D3 if I don't turn it off.
If I don't get it wrong you can just stop using Dark3d now and you won't get banned. Come on, Diablo 3s graphics are not that bad once you are used to them. They may look cartoonish but they really work for this game.
I stop using them as of today after i read that but if they still feel banning me even though it technically never made me have an advantage.. im gonna be whatever. Just sayin wont be getting their stuff anymore if it happens.
Since nobody seems to have read the twitter link here is a copy/paste
Dedisdead @Dedisdead1 @Angryrobotics Why can't we use the darker colors ?It doesn't bother anybody and it increases the pleasure in game. It's not like a cheat !
Blizzard has said that they're not currently allowing UI modifications (as opposed to WoW, where they not only allow it, but encourage it). You are using 3rd-party software to make adjustments to the game, something explicitly forbidden, but then get ready to rage quit if Blizzard comes down on you for something they explicitly said you shouldn't do.
That's like speeding down the road and making threats if a cop dared to pull you over. Sure you may be only going over the speed limit a few MPH, but those cops shouldn't enforce it!

What will they consider to be an exploit? I've seen tons of people getting ponies stuck, repeating quest turn-ins to level, meteor level trick, etc... will they ban for these sort of things?
My guess is they'd have to ban 3/4 of the players if this was the case.

It's hard to believe that there will be a maphack in D3 as the maps are randomly generated, instead of being one of a set of templates, like D2.
And relax, Blizz isn't going to ban anyone for powerleveling or using a WP to kill a goblin 100x times, as they have shown, they will just look for trends, search all the D3 fansites and youtube and nerf the exploits as they occur.

But I'm pretty sure you and anyone who uses DarkD3 will be safe.
And may the odds be ever in your favour.

First I wasnt complaining, second of all, i said only IF..
For the record, I don't think they'll ban over a pixel shader.

@Angryrobotics@Dedisdead1 TOS against mods is so we can ban cheaters. I agree DarkD3 is not a cheat...yet. As long as it is not a cheat, no ban is likely.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
he says no ban is LIKELY, which means you COULD potentially get banned for it but may be able to appeal.
No one gives one shit if you stop buying blizzard games.
