Yesterday, I bid 400,000 gold on an item with a few hours left. Last night, the Auction was "Expired" with my bid "Winning". This morning, I still have not received the item and my 400,000g has not been refunded. It seems odd that the item is listed as "Current Bid = 0" but "Your Bid = 400,000g".
I submitted a ticket to Blizzard, with a few screenshots and the above explanation of the situation, but the ticket was quickly closed advising me to look at the Knowledgebase. I reopened the ticket asking them to take a closer look.
I am just missing something, or is there something bugged with that auction?
BTW, I would post this on the Blizzard forums but it says my game account is expired...
My ticket was closed again saying something to the effect of they will report it to the development team so a fix will benefit the entire community. I reopened it saying "I just want my item or my 400,000 gold restored, please. Gold is worth money in this game so I don't like just having to accept the loss of that gold."
Better ask on the forums. If you had a WoW account and no longer subscribe, you must change your posting profile. Click on your character and there will be some blue letters or something on the menu opening, choose the D3 license, and you will be able to post.
Thanks, I'll try that!
The auction ended 11 hours ago. I am hoping it's just delayed. I am just suspicious because of the "Current Bid=0; Your Bid=400,000g" situation. Also, before the auction ended, I was trying to see it there were other similar items listed and I couldn't find it in the results. I assumed that it was not showing me items that I am currently bidding on.
You put in a bid when you didn't have the money i think. I usually do that to keep track on low-bid items (they get added to "My bids" page without me buying/paying anything, if i'm below the minimum bid (maybe even if i enter value below current bid?)), atleast that what i think.
Is this how it works? If so, that could explain my situation. I thought it took the gold at the moment of bidding and it refunded if you did not win the item.
I wonder if someone could have spoof canceled the auction? I dunno how it works but I know cancelling can be sort of cheated. What if someone just decided 400,000 wasn't enough for them and canceled at the last second?
Dunno if that's even possible but I could see someone doing it if that bug allows it.
Unrelated question: Can you re-bid on an item once you already bid/bidded/bade on an item? For instance when you are the first bid and someone else gives a bigger bid...I've only "buy out" cause it was less than 100k each time...
there is an exploit that does it atm, and maybe, if doing it... it wont return the money until the 36h time period have gone? or never? who knows. its an exploit
I'm going to assume he cancelled the bid using the new trick, in which case, you might have to wait till the actual 36hrs for your gold to return, not possitive though, it should have givin your gold right back if he did cancel.
Edit: Just read the above post which states exactly what I just stated
Edit #2: The real question is, does he get the gold back or does the seller still get the gold after 36 hrs? hrm I smell an exploit.

Trying screenshots:
Yes, there's nothing there and there's nothing listed in my auction history as being awarded the item or being outbid. Where can host screenshots?
Thanks!
also, if the servers are REALLY busy, you may have to wait for the server to catch up and to send out your item.
Thanks, I'll try that!

Well, my fingers are crossed.
Thank you for the comments so far.
