This guy is playing HARDCORE INFERNO. Yes, H.A.R.D.C.O.R.E Oh, and look at that, he's farming act 1 inferno to get to act 2. And when he's there? He'll farm act 2 to get to 3, and 3 to 4. Ask him and he won't say that beating diablo inferno is impossible.
Isn't this what everyone wanted? An extremely difficult option for the hardcore fans?
Just some words for thought while we wait for servers to come back up!
Cool. That doesn't make it any harder though. If you come across something you don't like, you leave and skip it.
But he's not leaving or skipping it. He's playing as the game was created to play and he's doing it legit. I think this proves it can be done and it really is for the hardcore fans. You wanted a hard difficulty, here it is!

Well then he is a total baller. I hate it when I read builds and people literally put, "So if you come across vortex mobs, skip those, same as teleport, invulnerable minions, and mortar." Its like.. what?
not dying once all the way to and through inferno -- same as softcore?
.......he can just buy good items from the AH like the rest of us softcore players? Also, the HC AH is identical to the SC AH.
yeah.....
What? Your post doesn't really make sense.. I stood back and tried to compensate what you were saying but all I could gather was you disagree with what I said. Which is fine. Hardcore is hard because if you die you have to start over. But If you pay attention, play carefully, you survive just fine. That doesn't make it "harder" it just means you are willing to go the distance to survive. Having a 10% durability loss as the only penalty in softcore means, AHH Lets just run around and spam and kill shit and see what happens.
Same enemies, same difficulty, different attitude.

I stood back and tried to "compensate" what you were saying too. Similar result.
He's playing act 1 inferno on hardcore, people. Do you know how hard it is to not die to anything, ever? Do you "compensate" how difficult it is to farm and gear up for inferno without dying?
I used to read these forums because they were at least slightly more palatable than the blizz forums. Good job proving me wrong, folks.

I assume this was sarcasm, but I will comment on it just in general to say that, yeah, the HC AH is way different. I'm only level 50 on my HC character and the things on there that are useful to me cost wayyyyyyyyyy more than the SC counterparts that people would just vendor without a thought.

And having to pay more attention or thinking more about the strategy doesn't make it harder?
All the stress of not dying doesn't make it harder?
Only monsters with more HP and more dmg make it harder??

p.s. the word is comprehend.
Wow. LOL! p.s. You sir, are angry. Sorry I am not palatable enough for you
BTW, I have more legendary shit on my hardcore druid, level 92 then you ever had in D2. No doubt.
Thanks for your insightful knowledge of how hard it is not to die to anything, ever!

I don't think you're "compensating" what "harder" means.
Of course hardcore is harder, Nokturnal. My god, what's wrong with some people?
So what you're saying is....because you have to be far more careful, take a lot more time, farm more of your own items and the risk of a mistake is far greater....that it's "harder"?
lol......some people don't know when to stop arguing, do they?
I'd say that only one life does make a game harder.
You can play defensively all you want, but it only takes one simple mistake to end your characters progress. To not make any mistakes at all up to Act 1 in Inferno? That's more skill than I'll ever have, for sure.
To the people saying, "Nah that doesn't make it harder," I just wonder how far into Hardcore your character has made it. And no... Diablo 2 does not count.
Hardcore is hardcore. D2 has the same concept. Harder to get items in that game in my opinion because there was no AH or use for gold for that matter. You had to find your gear or have some pretty good valuables to trade for it. If you died, you lost your stash too. Also mobs had things like Iron Maiden or Immune to Physical. So far these mobs are all killable there are just some that are harder than others. Yes, I know a thing or two about HC. I've been doing it
